If You go into the door cards check the soldered joint that came from factory. It’s in the loom at the bottom of the door. Pretty sure theRe is a vacuum connection for the doors before it goes into the door

I think the relays and pump struggle if your battery is on its way out or near flat especially if it’s not used much
-
That is low as well by the way. Don’t think that front spoiler would look like that for long on the front of my car 😂😂
-
Check your battery voltage first with the car not running

If blue gets this sorted, he can tell you all about it.

You will need to cut a small bit out of the strengthening to the underside of the bonnet as it will catch the top of the charger, other than that it’s just nut, bolts and a tune. Vince was doing a charger kit for the VR6, he’d done a deal with a British manufacturer, give him a call Keyo and see what it’s all about. The biggest thing I didn’t like about the Vortech was the whiney/whistle, it made a right annoying unmistakable racket that wasn’t very stealthy even just pottering about.
-
The previous owner of mine had fitted this kit. I had it removed and sold it a couple of years ago, it was a V9 F, sold it complete with the Ecu, but the Ecu was for a obd1 dizzy version. The bearings had gone in it and it never ran right while it was on. I think it didn’t run right because it wasn’t mapped properly, the chip it comes with is for a 2.8 American market, ours on the other hand are as you know, 2.9.

What injectors have you gone for ?

Have a check on the coil pack and it’s wiring

Nice purchase Shame the decision was forced on you, get a third brake light put on this one.

What 80's - 90s cars for sale have caught your eye recently.

It obviously hasn’t been in a barn for the last 7 to 8 years or it wouldn’t be so sun damaged. Does my nut in when they say barn find, it clearly hasn’t been stored away in a barn because someone can’t part with it, it’s a seriously neglected parts car that’s been stoved in. -

I wonder what radiator is in it. The Vr6 one won’t fit in that slam panel. Sams salvage will win it and he’ll try and make at least a grand over the winning bid by parting it out, with very reasonably priced spares in tip top condition. -
I bet all that hassle with the air con seems worth it today.
-
Well done to you mate for dragging it through this refurb while it was kicking and screaming, it’s why a lot of people give up. The next challenge is keeping it up there and make no mistake it is a challenge

Vince doesn’t moan about the bolts on the front strut either, because he knows how you o do it.
-
What a load of tosh. He doesn’t know how to do it. You have to slacken the 2 bolts that hold the suspension strut/coil over in place while it’s in the air to roughly where you think it needs to be, tighten up then drop it back down and see how close you got then do it again and adjust accordingly. You can’t do much with the rear

Is it all done yet are you both driving about like Cheshire cats🤞

I feel emotional

Unlucky Monday’s are my forte mate. On the upside not a bad list of stuff for them to put right. Was it the passenger front that clipped the door step? New ones best before alignment anyway Maybe tomorrow will bring EPIC Tuesday 🤞

It’s behind the battery to the left as you look at it from the front of the car. Take the battery out to get proper access. Mine looked like this before I cleaned it up.

This guys were very good. I think he is still doing the shorter ones

Full engine bay. With a sprinkle of carbon goodness

You need the plastic base out of a Corrado with the wire from r the horn still attached, reinforce the wire with tape or similar. Then drill a hole in the wheel housing to take this wire, be accurate as it will decide wether your canceller is in the right spot or not. Make the hole big enough and you are laughing

I would get it through a MOT to achieve max value, you’ll be looking at loosing a fair bit without one.

Decided to have a go at replacing my grotty looking wiper motor and bracket and tidy the whole area up by at long last having a go at fitting my spoonfed windscreen trim and wiper cover. Bit of a faf about but looks amazing when in place.
