yeah it does sound like it could be that...have a good look around for burnt wires, probably be able to smell em if you have a sniff around :lol:

if the guy made his own headlamp relay set up , they could be anywhere really...have a look between the battery and lamps for any non genuine looking wiring

very much sounds like a prob with the headlamp relay/wiring . it should be possible to convert it to standard easily and have proper look at the modded wiring loom

yeah the original hose breaks up inside...best to replace it

if it only does it when you change gear then the gerastick or linkage is tugging on some wires

back it off till its not noisey

the engine oil drain shouldnt be a hex key..its a bolt! if its rounded off then id try to get a socket welded to it so you can undo it, then replace it with a new one -
any ideas why it was done darren? seems a bit wierd p.s goes alot better without it :lol:

the track rod is tighter than hell into the rack...i ended up having the rack out on a golf, but a good tip is to remove the lower arm so you can get at it then match up the length best you can with the old one before fitting

a while ago i dismantled my charger for a look..then gave up and sent it to g werks the previous :x place has spray painted my displacer? with grey zinc primer/paint whats all that about then? you never see it mentioned on forums

yeah you can...if you look carefully you will see the diode? inside...so sand as far as yo like without hitting that...i find if you square of the end it difuses it a bit

£400 is about right for a nice one, although if funds allow the recaros are better than std gti seats

the fact sns have no lag , and if you have a issue with the chip sns will talk with you to solve the problem

ive tried both chips...deffo the sns one is better

could just be a blocked pick up on the oil pump..ive taken em off and found loads of silicone and bits of gasket stuck in there 1hrs work tops

yeah id thought of that the instant i saw it :) a peice of phone cable maybe, the only thing stoping me is i cant imagine it being very neat ive also got a reply on another site, that some guys had his done and only extended the 3 wires...i cant imagine theres much interferane anyway can you?? its all turned off when armed spose i'll have to eat 20x kitkats to get the silver foil now :(
