Having spent some time swapping the working sunroof from my breaker into VRT I went to open it for the catch to jump off the rear slider on closing. Messed around for ages trying to figure out what was wrong and it turned out the rear pass side slider had broken. Whether this just happened or if it was already like that in the other car and just worked ok I don't know. After some head scratching and trying to switch parts from the other sunroof I eventually came up with this. Drilled a hole where the broken slide had been and put a screw in. Then using a dremel I cut the head down to the correct size and put it back together. Seems to be working just fine now after many test opens. Pikey it may be but at least I can now slide my roof back :cheers:

Annoyingly Rog I have a really clean Rad you could have had for £40 and a used crack pipe you could have for free if you want it.

The car this MAF came off felt a bit flat top end. Upon having a quick google the MAF is a possible cause, as such it will not be for sale till I have had a chance to test it on my mates VR. Always thought when mafs went bad they caused the car to run like crap but apparently they can cause flat spots in the power band too.

Seen a few advertised at £100 on ebay, but when they are left on open auction they usually fetch around £30-40 so thought £30 was fair. The shed is a right state. Luckily most body panel cans just be left in the garden as I am pretty much out of room in that shed and the other half is already biting her tongue at the state of the dinning room, lol.

No worries Rob. Getting there slowly with the strip down. If I pulled my finger out I could have it done fairly quickly now, but I have got nowhere to put it all. May have to empty the shed and have a good organise to create a bit more space if the weather is good tomorrow.

Surprised by the total lack of interest in this, especially with it including a throttle body and all the bits being port matched. Potential to really liven up your NA Corrado. £850 takes it.
