there's a carbon one on ebay.
-
I just ordered a new one from German and Swedish, £98+VAT to me. £115+VAt normally.
-
It's a real car, I've seen loads of pics of it....unfortunately.
-
lOOK INTHE MEMBERS GALLERY. MINES 55MM AT THE FRONT. the wishbones are horizontal.
-
I've done one too. We used a Rallye 1H block, ABA cross flow head, ATP exhaust manifold T3 Super 60 hybris turbo, custom inlet manifold and grey injectors, all running of remapped G60 ECU.
-
what tyres and pressure are you running?
-
did you also know you can shut then buy holding the key in the lock position i the door for a second? the longer you hold it, the further they shut.
-
2 8v's......the only reason for buying it is that it was the cheapest way to buy a tidy late shell in a decent colour.
-
so your not into racing cars then?
-
I found 2 actually, but one was a heap of sh1t. and the other one, well, I bought it! VR6 going in it at Easter.
-
on early ones, it's on the pulley end, right at the top of the block. on later oens, it's round the back, on the horizontal surface of the top of the block, directly under the cam chain tensioner (big bolt)

VR always used to take a good while to warm up (well, until the thermostat siezed up!), but my 8v is hot in a couple of minutes and the oil gets up to 100 in no time at all.
-
It's always misted up int he car, the rear screen especially. Would a glass sunroof cause it to mist up more? I find that it attracts condensation, which then drips into the car.
-
look at the engine number. if it's AAA it's a 2.8. if it's ABV it's a 2.9. or at least, it SHOULD be.
-
Why is it ALWAYS misty in the drivers side lower corner on a morning??!?!? it takes forever to demist that area.
-
could be the oil cooler? what do you mean by (connectors)? electrical? hoses? what?
-
yo 8)
-
Are you sure it's a leak, might just be excess oil in the intake boot?
-
Get a blow torch and wall paper scraper. the trick is, to heat the knife, not the panel. it'll slide through it. get any remainging gunk off it with meths. then polish it up.

"Never drive your car on 1st gear over 5000 turnover&qu

My VR used to rev to 7200 before it hit the limter. I always thought it was set at 6600, so I was racing it up to that. then, when I went past it It htough, "hang about!" so I took it up to 7000 and beyond in the first 3 gears, and knocked half a second off my times! -
silly money, about £100 for the set. ditch it, it looks better painted.

what a load of sh1te. it doesn't matter what gear you in. ring it's neck in every gear, it's the only way to drive a 1.8 16v anyway. -
obviously not...some peopl thought it had a filter in it.
