at the front, put it under the subframe, where the anti roll bar goes through. at the rear, put it on the rear axle pivot, or immediatelty in front of it. DON'T EVER JACK ON THE SILLS OR THE FLOORPAN. you'll bend it and scrape off the underseal.

SOME OF THE WORST CORRADOS EVER... RICED !!!!!!! NOOOOOO ;-)

 -
get a hair drier and heat it up a bit first
-
they ALL have 239 rears with the 2 tapered roller bearings. the only differences are the 4stud or 5 stud thing, and the stub axle for ABS cars has a hole in it.
-
remove the coil pack and have lok for leak behind there. plenty of geasketry for it to be leaking out of the engine in that area. and VR's are leaky old pigs at the best of times.

try looking on http://www.borbet.de then.

What parts are needed for Valve Stem Seal replacement?
PhatVR6 replied to Dilated's topic in Suppliers Forum
If you're not taking the head off you need a special tool to keep the valve up in the head and to take the springs off. you can pull the seals off with pliers if the head is off. -
but quite bizarrely, I have 2 cars which are those 2 colours! almost.
-
Nothing. I'm using it in my Mk2.
-
sh1te. but at least it doesn't look exactly like the UPS one now.
-
yes, it'll swap straight over. the servo? mine has a switch in it, that's it.
-
That's because it IS the UPS one. the bumper stinks...and it's brown, and the mirros look all droopy. nice arches and wheels, trim and engine though.
-
yep, literally plug n play. 4 big white connectors, and about 6 or 7 little ones. all of which will only plug into the correct connectors. peice of p1ss. getting the servo out and back in is the hardest part of the wiring.

He's talking out of his ring peice. ALL mk2's, 3's and corrado's with 2WD and rear discs use the same rear wheel bearings.

LMAO! why oh why did VW set the factory ride height so high, it looks ridiculous! nice rims though. -
Flywheel is getting sent back. He was very apologetic about it, and it was a genuine mistake so I can't really slag him off much as he's been great to deal with. He's admitted fault and offered a full refund. It was a bad idea to drop out the 2.0 8v lump comlete on it's subfraem with wishbones and everything....it's HUGE! it's taking up half of my garage!! Anyway, the car is all ready to accpet the engine now, just need a flywheel and my hoses and I'll be away again.
-
Well, a flywheel that fits would be helpful............... It's all gone tits up. the 8v is out, VR6 subframe, wiring loom and rear axle is on, but I can't put the engine in as I was sent a fualty flywheel!!!!

-

-
Good bye 8v, it's out. Got the wiring for the VR in alreayd, been spending most of the time cleaning the filthy engine bay. Can't put the engine in yet. I got sent a flywheel that was made wrong, so I can't do f*ck all else for a week apart from clean.. it's gonna be DAMN clean!
