  1. my mate said he used an M45 off a mini. only pumps out 4psi apparently! ABF is the engine code for the 2.0 16v found in the mk3 golf gti 16v and the old SEAT ibiza Cupra 16v. runs on motronic fuel injection I think, 150bhp.
  2. I've got some vids of it running at santa pod somewhere
  3. great for keeping the brakes cool..... still, at least they won't get caked in brake dust!
  4. possibly, but if you make so you keep the pipes pointing up they shouldn't spill that much fluid, and any air bubbles will return to the resrvoir once you reconnect the pipes.
  5. they should just pull of, just be aware that you will spill fluid everywhere. the other end is indeed crimped, don't try to disconnect that end....
  6. I dunno, I just think they look a bit plasticy in red. Not keen on yellow ones either, or white. I think they only suit the darker metallics.
  7. have you tried putting a clip around them? or even taking them off, cleaning them and the nipples (can i say that?) and putting them back on. I always find that the same happens witht he clutch pipe after I've used a pressure bleeder.
  8. sounds like you literally got half a job there. and it also sounds like the cam timing is out too.
  9. it's probably just leaked out when you've had the reservoir under pressure. clean off the leaked fluid and see if it comes back, odds on it won't.

    JMC's G60

loving the outside, looks well hard. not feeling the interior.....
  11. I'm not sure what he used, he's always buying chargers off ebay. could have been an M45?? possibly bigger. I'll ask him tomorrow. The car is that hideous blue effort with the mk4 front end and the seat cupra rear lights that we were all laughing at last year.
  12. My mates just fitted an Eaton blower, to an ABF in a corrado. I'll see if he took any pics of it. i think it put out about 200bhp.
  13. welcome to the forum! yup, common fault. you have to remove the window seal and treat the rust. problem being, it usually stretches the seal so it'll still look sbubbled even with the metal fixed..and a new seal is.£95!!!
  14. no wonder he crashed. he had a woman reading his pace notes, she's bound to have mixed up left with right. clever for not wearing any seatbelts/harnesses, in his "rally" car....dick
  15. too oldfashioned and chunky for a sleek corrado. looks great on my missus car though!
  16. nah, on a backup CD somewhere from when I got rid of my old pc, there's dowzens to check through!
  17. like:- ride height removed beesting and rear wiper dislike:- everything else. don't like red corrado's anyway wheels are rank, too small and too red lack of mirrors looks mongy painted lights are chavvy number plate looks stupid. but, overall, because it sits well, it does acutally look quite good!
  18. I have a 4motion box, clutch and flywheel and r32 driveshafts if you change your mind!
  19. oh aye, and that one. it's a rothe motorsport 3.0 turbo, round about 500bhp
  20. on here, probably Guy's 312BHP supercharged VR in the US, probably that 1.8T 700bhp dragster i posted up a month ago or if were talking corrado's that aren't really corrado's any more, most likely Spencer Tramm's V8 dragster beastie. not a clue what it's putting out, but I think it's ran 7's....
  21. found these pics on vortex, worth sharing
  22. well, if you're happy DON'T try recaro's...because you will want some.
  23. you need to, the standard ones are not good...
  24. Hey, I've been on Men and Motors too, YEARS ago, whenI had my Mk2 at The Doncaster Custom and Sports Car show. to this day I've never seen it (thank f*ck!)
