Just wanted to say i love the khaki... the colour  Can't be many still on the go so you've got a rare one there. Any updates?
-
Are there any khaki owners on here? I keep looking for cars in khaki green but i guess it's ultra rare. Always loved the oak green and atlas grey golfs... might even end up painting mine if i can persuade myself.

Hello, great to see another valver regardless of the condition. Been way too many getting chopped up for ££££ these days so good on ye :thumbleft: What's it like with no interior? have thought about doing the same thing and making a road racer but can't decide?
-
I "could" make them, i use a cnc lathe with live tooling all day long however i wouldn't want to be responsible for someone else's wheels/life...
-
PCD wheel adaptors are what you need mate. I'll be going from 4x100 to 4x130 next year.
-
It's staged for sure but so is the xfactor, however this is much better! I was surprised to find it on you tube... expect it'll be removed eventually. :(
-
So I'm looking for inspiration on you tube and yet again I'm distracted and end up here... Enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=taaaLud_48Y&feature=related

Some old pictures from star performance fife - march 2003

That's crazy milage considering the cars history. Was the guy a corrado fan? I guess he just liked driving it  -
The wheels would never fall off, the wishbone is designed to stay in the subframe even if a bolt fails. However I'd have a look under the car and check ball joints, track rod ends and even the frame itself. I've had a track rod come off and it wasn't a great experience.

The knock your getting could be the wishbone bushes, might be a good idea to check them out before the unthinkable happens?

question for those that run headlight loom /relays
elliott replied to steveo29's topic in Engine Bay
Car was bought with it already done but it looks good, two relays and all the wires run inside some plastic pipe that's been cable tied under the slam panel. Its not water proof but the relays sit tight infront of the battery and i've never noticed any water up there. -

Mine are bare but tidy, need re-wired as they come on with the side lights... -
Hello, just a quick question. I have very light over assisited steering and i just put it down to the rack needing replaced, or is it this pressure valve sticking? Thanks
-
The blue cables are very hit and miss due to the "made in china" quality but have you tried slowing the latency down? Mine didn't work first time and i had to change the latency from 8 to 5 in the device manager/port settings.

It's the same thing, 16 pin plug fits all vag cars. I've used it on a lupo, polo, skoda, golf and of course the corrado. It's worked every time. I didn't bother with the mini cd you get with it as it's an older version of vag-com. You can find the free software at the ross-tech website.

Hello and welcome from another newbie. Using a corrado could prove expensive if used daily but if you've got time to look around there are still plenty coming up for sale. Some reading material before you buy... http://wiki.the-corrado.net/the_corrado_buying_guide_checklist.html

I've got this one and I've had no problems with it so far, It does get some mixed reviews but can't complain at the price. http://www.ebay.co.uk VAG-COM

welcome, finding the right one might take time... how deep are your pockets?
