looks like that makes a huge difference... I guess legality is only a problem if you're not friendly with the nice man at the MOT center. I have seen Guy Hartleys conversion on his Storm and again it makes a massive difference. My h/l aren't too bad (IIRC - has been a long time since I've driven mine) but this is something I'll consider if/when they start getting s1te 8)

it's got a door too many on each side?

If you come in on the M4, head into hamersmith and then head down to Barnes... Station Road is all free parking (but I wouldn't leave my C there for a w/e) once you're there follow it round over two (very close together) level crossings and take the first road on your right into The Elms...this is a very quiet residential road (with some seriously high end homes) and again has free "safe as you'll find" parking. on foot from here you'll be back at Barnes train station in 10 mins and then on train into Waterloo in 15! I park up there every day and have done for 2 years never with any problems 8) HTH

Which fuse have you checked? there will be the normal one in the fuse box that will cover the stereo but there is also one on the back of the head unit... sorry if you've already checkd that! Other than that I can't think of any bright ideas - other than try pressing the reset button in the front of the h/u as it may just be stuck, but thats a bit of a long shot... Good luck

removing the grill will make it a lot easier... very quick and easy job 8)

Think they look good and suit your car but the tint looks like it could do with a laquer... more of a fan of red tinting myself 8)

I just buy it for the pictures (of America)...

Just noticed in a recent copy of PVW that in their club listings the Corrado Club of America and the Corrado Club of Canada both have their full details listed but there is no mention at all about CCGB!!! Surely a UK mag should be promoting UK clubs... it would also help the club if it were advertised a bit better. I know that before I joined I found it fairly hard to track CCGB down. This may also have something to do with PVW aren't as interested in the UK dub scene as much as other mags... they also never list the forum in their forum/website listings...

I take these are very rare? I've only ever seen one of these and it was in a golf cab...

My car has just had a new 9A bottom end put in as the previous block had reached the end of it's life... when we took the old bottom end out we were suprised to find out that it was a KR!!! The new 9A went in quickly but we had several delays as we had to wait for little unexpected bits to be sent over from Germany to get the 9A to mate up to gearbox etc... no one was expecting how much of a pain in the ar$e this "straight" swap would be and it has taken a lot of time to get it right! My car was always meant to be a 2.0 9A but someone before I got it had put the 1.8 KR in - if your head is OK then you may want to keep that and just put in the 9A bottom end as this seems to be a good combination... Good luck

 this was only a quick fix suggestion and I was only repeating something I have read else where on this forum... my ABS works fine and if it didn't then I'd fix it too - my car, life and others lives are way too important to me and I wouldn't want to risk driving without serviced and fully functional brakes!!! Sorry for any misunderstanding

Take it you haven't sold it then Chris... sounds like you have a tiny bit of a flat spot in there but as said above are you sure it's not just a slightly sticky needle?
-
if you remove the light unit before it goes in for it's mot then you should be fine... if it ain't there then who is to say it's fitted? I only say this as in a past post someone said that this is what they did and they got away with it ;)

I also need to have a think about this as have just got a set of 17's which I plan to put on once the C makes it home from the workshop... I'm currently running G60 BBS rims.

there's meant to be 2 copies of the Sprinter mag and two newsletters every year is there not?

Is your passenger door handle slightly more slack than the drivers? Mine doesn't sit in the resess like the drivers one does and I too have this problem. I think it's down to the rod that goes from the handel to the mech... need to strip my door pannel and reduce the lenght of the rod a bit and with some luck it will cure the problem. Could be the same on yours if yours is like mine?

have seen the polo high level brake light grafted in under the spoiler - looked very 8) something I'd like to do in the future at some point
-
will this mean you don't benefit from the heated mirrors now?
-
got any pics of yours on the C Tempest?

you could see if putting a different wiper stalk on makes any difference...? I have a feeling that they are the same as mk2 golf stalks and available from a scrap yard

you do have to wonder what they were thinking when they OK'd the suspension ride height... it is a touch on the ridiculously high side!!!
