I say go for it! Your car will help improve the pages of the mag no end plus you'll get a feature and some nice pics to boot! Almost a no brainer but I understand your concerns...
-
Looks superb! First time I have really thought the angel eyes look good on a C 8) Are you missing the black plastic surrounds for the glass?
-
Dude, why buy another car when you already have 2 money pits ;)
-
Love the last pic and dare say I'm gonna have a go at it my self over the weekend/next time the cars clean and I have a nice w/e 8) Your mate has some good skills there for sure!
-
Looking at your pic I'd say spacing the rears would help the way it sits too tbh...
-
Looks very um... red  No, really, looks very clean and in perfect nic... nice one 8)
-
Does look a lot better IMO and providing the beam pattern is alright I'd deffo keep it that way! Would look even better if you paint the chrome around the lenses black too... Not sure about either grill tbh... If the Reiger one had black slats between the headlights that would be perfection though ;)
-
Looks good on an early bonnet but doesn't suit the curves of the later style IMO... and... no matter how you look at it they work so much better on the front of a nice mk1 ;)
-
GPC are generally very good for cheepish parts... rear plate plinths are no longer made though so you may struggle to find a brand new one! I have a good condition s/h one kicking about somewhere if you're interested - one of the plastic lugs on the rear is slightly damaged but it will still hold as it's meant to?
-
Looking nice - have you thought about CC'ing the door handles? 8)
-
Very clean! Looks like it's nice and straight too... any big plans for it or just drive and enjoy?
-
Have been up against my mates dad in his VXR (I was in my Leon) and there wasn't much in it... he was a tad quicker off the line than me but I was able to make up for it in the twisties... don't know how much will have been down to driving style but if a VXR will take the leon then I doubt a VR would be all that much of a problem for one! One of the few vauxhals that I actuely quite like - great styling and nice inside... not sure I could bring my self to own one though :?
-
I would imagine it to be the same as any other Seat - i.e. all red at night - no pics though :?
-
Well nice 8) ()
-
As already said they do look fantastic mate! If I'd kept my C I'd be doing this now for sure! So, whats the plan to get the front seats to recline? And, what did you have to do with the sub frames to get them in?
-
Looking damn good matey! 8) Have you thought about shaving the third brake light - kinda spoils the rear IMO...
-

Looking fantastic dude! At a push I'd suggest spacing the rears out slightly but otherwise they're spot on! 8) -
While trawling through various forums reading up on tyres and what 's good/bad I came accross this website: http://www.carbibles.com I've only read the Wheel and Tyre Bible but the amount of good useful, factual info on there is outstanding and really helped explain a lot of the things I'd been wondering! So, hope it's useful for others and the rest of it is as good as the bit's I've read 8) (bought some Goodyear GS-D3's in the end which seem nice and grippy on the front of the LCR - looking forward for them to bed in properly ;) )
-
very nice indeed! would love to have something like that one day 8)

What is it with me and motorways? (now this pics)

Maybe the tw@s's on sc.net wil see the benefits to a full bra now ;) Sorry to see it btw mate and best of luck getting it sorted! -
mine on enzo cups and then on Porsche cup 3's - this is how it was when I sold it :(
-
Looking like some good progress Rob - how long has it been?
-
Jim, you will have them soon good buddy - although I'm yet to get them posted

Planning to get hold of one of these for my Rivage because a) it looks good and b) I have enough stone chips thank you... I appreciate that some look wrong - especially the ones with the silly flappy bits - and that you need to use them sparingly as they will screw your paint if left on but, on the whole, the right bra can look good on the right car!
