Take it to The Phirm instead matey - they know exactly what they're doing! Car looks mint btw and has really made me want one (although I'd go for the big bumpers) 8)

I'll put money on it being the air flow meter... I kid you not - I've been through the whole 'it must be the workings of satan' theories with my valver and it always boiled down to the AFM! Get a decent garage with VAG-COM or similar diagnostics to take a good look and if they fail then call The Phirm for a definitive answer

Warrenties are all well and good but mine is just about running out now and I've not found a single reason to claim! OK, I will be anal in the last month and claim for every little thing I see possible but after this experience with the LCR I'm certain the MRS will be enjoying a nearly new/just out of warrenty VAG car next 8)

tbh there's a lot of cars you could pick up for £10K - the LCR being one of them.. OK it's a different league to the RX8 but still worth considering IMO (I am biased though :lol: )

I'm no expert but AFAIK there won't be a hole in the glass... the inside and out side bits mearly have to be stuck to the glass opposite eachother for the signal to pass between them. Like I say I could be worng but am pretty sure I'm not :D Failing that and there is a hole I'd have thought it would be easy enough to fill it with a srcew and some sealant!?! HTH

Looks good fella - have been looking for a good mk2 big bumper myself as I'm not sure the Cab will hang around much longer! Look forward to seeing this in the flesh at some point!

if it's any consilation I've just had a nice letter from Transport from London telling me I owe them £50 in the next 14 days as I forgot to pay the congestion charge :( I'm also getting fed up of lifes bad hands!

Hi and welcome to the forum... I've never heard of your electrical fault happening before to be honest but would assume it's a fualty connection grounding out somewhere behind the dash - depending on how confident you are with electrics I'd say you either need to strip the dash back to find the fault or get a good auto electrician... and secondly, there are loads of threads on here regarding suspension and I'm sure a quick search will answer your question ;) EDIT: Read through this thread for suspension Q's and A's

I agree with what Jim has said about 5 spokes on the C but I'm just not feeling them I'm afraid... Now these would look damn good on a C in either 8x15 or 7.5x16/9x16 and IIRC will be in your price range (certainly the 15's) I am also slightly biased having a set on my Golf but they do look great on a C - will try and dig out a pic for you ;)
