I bet, that's a great story. The guys at TZ are almost always brilliant, it's a great site. Only downside with it s that because everyone knows what stuff is worth, bargains are harder to come by. I bough my zenith and a zodiac off there with no hassle.

It's a great watch, had mine 4 years Use it daily with no service and it's still spot on (touch wood). Would love another zenith el Primero, I have a 1969 series 1, but can't afford it at the moment as I'm saving to get the vx220 supercharged over the winter.

Was scanned when in for the MOT and all is well. The throttle sensor seemed OK when I was looking at it but it'll be on the list to check. Anyone know where the dry solder joints for fuel pump may be???

Hi guys, car has developed the annoying on/off throttle jerk that seems to be common. Not being much of a mechanic I've booked into garage for Friday but rather than paying lots of time for diagnosis I was thinking about putting a list together of the common causes. Doing a search listed dry solder on fuel pump, and maf plug, but is there anything else I can tell him to do in the first instance?? Cheers!

Morning all, my car had its mot yesterday and though it passed I had an advisory on the standard exhaust which is rusting. It's kicked off my thinking about a new system. My old VR had a milltek and I loved the noise of that,so want similar now milltek don't do the corrado anymore lots on here seem to endorse the jetex and longlife. I have a bmc cda fitted so I don't want an accompanying exhaust to sound nuts, just like a proper v6. 2 eBay sellers have some resonated jetex fir sale around the 370 mark, anyone ever bought from them? Also the MOT guy said the underneath of the car was the cleanest corrado he'd ever seen :)

I think 6-7 would about right if it's standard. I would only pay more for something like the heavily worked on 4wd turbo type stuff with retrimmed recaros and bbs splits, or a car with a recent strip and spray with photos etc.

I have a VX220 as well as the corrado and everywhere I go people drive really aggressively around me. Sometimes it can be really disconcerting...

Still about 400 per tonne, More than things like the 458, reventon or mac slr!

Sorry for the lo res but I ride this crazy hardtail... Has a scandium frame used in the 04 Athens games and lots of trick bits for lightness. The whole bike hits the scales under 8.5kg. Shame I'm so fat really and let the side down somewhat haha!!!

My car came with a remap from AMD and it's really responsive compared to my old C. Not sure about it being much faster but it rolling roaded a bit higher. Makes the car feel lighter and fresher I think that's where the best gain is. I also get about 26mpg on the same runs to work I used to get no more than 22 from my old vr...

Colour change or are you sticking with white? I debated long and hard about changing when I ha mine done but I chickened out in the end and it stayed red lol.
