Did the same on me, just got it welded.

That looks like a nice job.

This is what I did with my airbox.

Ollie, Yes and no. The light started to go out intermittently when I started garaging the car. Maybe a moisture problem drying out as I have had a leak onto the controller connector. Changed the fan inlet seal now so don't have a leak. I say yes because when the car has run for maybe 20mins+ then I turn off, then back on the light goes out everytime. I suspect there is a dodgy connection in the controller. I'll leave it until near MOT time.

If I remember Mr Haywire explained the installation procedure many months back.

Just a quick reminder.

Get yourself down to Millars Barn on the 29th and show it off.

Graham_E, glad you got the shifter in.

Saw a really nice N plate VR in Classic Green today in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, at about 5.45pm wearing 17" rims. Sounded sweet. Don't be ashamed, own up to this one.

billinjahg60, Pull the door handle, if the door doesn't open then we're almost there. Next try to open the door from the inside, if it opens then I'll sell you a kit :)

Bojmobile, very nice indeed. I'm still looking for a 90mm spoiler so if you decide to sell bear me in mind. -
The ABS ECU's are about £540+vat from the stealer or about £50 at a breaker.

oops, just read it again. I thought the screw was turning but not coming out.

If it's one on the top, grip the head with mole grips, unscrew and pull at the same time. Also try inserting a flat head screw driver under the head, lever upwards whilst unscrewing. If it's the one deep down, try to gain access from behind the headlight.

Following up on the headlight repair procedure posted by Funkster, I'm working on a repair kit of my own for the headlight switch. I've already had some success with the first proto and hope to have it finished fairly soon. Gonna be cheap as chips. Who needs VW? Well ok maybe sometimes. Some credit has to go to Funkster as my kit is based around his design.

Me downloading it ain't helping either. -
Calm down Jim is only a...................... Given the chance I would have let down all the tyres, that way they are stranded for sometime and you don't get caught for criminal damage with a brick. A bit tame I know but like you Jim I'm not a naturally agressive person.

I used to work with Pirelli up until recently. Did you get his name, I might know him? I think it was Barrie Franklyn, his writing is a bit messy.

Those TSW's are very nice.

Those rims look very nice. What size are they?

Thanks for the comments, looks even better in the flesh.
