It's not too bad but it's happened, that's what pees me off. I'm puzzled as to why he has offered to pay for it himself when his company insurance will cover it. My guess is he could be on a final warning from his company or he's got something else he'd like to keep hidden. I'm at the body shop today at 3 so he'll know tonight how deep his pockets need to be.

Heading into work today, stood at traffic lights, whack!! Just bumper damage looking at it, no damage in the boot but probably won't know for sure until it's looked at. The bloke who hit me was driving a White Ford Fiesta company van but insisted he wanted to pay for it himself. Yeah we'll see after I get a quote today. Anyway if you live in Kidderminster keep clear cus he's a crap driver. Dave

I changed my calipers and disks last year and the two bolts holding the carriers on were extremely very tight, had to use leg work to crack em'. I believe you need to use thread locker on all bolts when you re-fit. I did.

I hit the leading edge of the seat (the area that you see between your legs when sitting down) with my fist and it pops out, do this for the other seating position.

Without going out to look at my C it sounds like the temp sensor. It clips in to the lower part of the front bumper. Dave

Accurate measurements, a lot of careful crafting and here's the result. The surround is polished stainless bolted to the plastic surround from underneath. The gaitor is actually the wifes old leather boots stitched by my mum and is sandwiched between the stainless surround and another steel surround hidden underneath. Just need to get hold of a good leather knob and maybe a Momo Millenium wheel to finish it off. The photo does NOT do it justice, it looks really nice in the flesh. Dave
