Hello there, right I've had a good look through my spares and have got some new black rubber mount buffer's, and new metal safety speed nuts. I've double checked regarding the round metal spacer sleeves, but don't have any of these spare I'm afraid. Let me know if you want both item's for £15, this is for x4 rubber mount buffer's & x4 safety speed nuts. or just the x4 safety speed nuts for £4 Si

Hello mate, yeah these 3 item's in question are fitted to the 8v 16v MK2 Golf GTi, the 16v Passat, and the 16v's & G60 Corrado's. The Corrado 8v & VR6 only have the one fuel pump in fuel tank so these fixings are not used on this setup. All the others listed above have 2 fuel pumps so need these fixings, for the fuel swirl pot cradle support bracket. Si

I've been looking on the VW Classic Parts site to see if there's any other information, this is what I found. Pulley with part number 027 145 255 (overall width/thickness 11mm to 12mm) diameter of whole pulley 98mm Pulley with part number 051 145 255 (overall width/thickness 19mm to 20mm) diameter of whole pulley 95mm hope this helps si

Hello there, I can't promise anything but I might have a few spare, but possibly only of the black rubber mount buffer's and the metal safety speed nut clips, the round metal compression spacer sleeves I've only got the one new set, that I've used on my new set up. The black rubber mount buffer's are part number 191 201 274 (I might have some of these) ?? The metal safety speed nuts are part number 191 201 280A (I might have some of these) ?? The round metal compression spacer sleeves are part number 191 201 278A (I'm 95% sure I don't have any of these spare unfortunately) But will check. I'll have a look tomorrow in my spares and see if I've got any of the item's in question. Si

Hi Dox, yeah kind of the 3 item's in question attach to the cradle bracket and help it to remain fixed to underside of car once bolted up. Si

I think the bolt will pivot against the black fork like bracket that we can see the bolt going through. Looks to me as if you've got the early type pulley on, that should have a spacer plate behind it to kick it out more, i.e making it level with your crankshaft pulley. I've had a quick look on ETKA but it doesn't list the spacer plate, but does show it in the diagram. Early pulley 027 145 255 should have spacer plate with this one, as this pulley has a shallow centre. Later type pulley 051 145 255 this has a raised offset centre, making it kick out level with crankshaft pulley. The spacer plate is not required for this pulley. This is all I can think of unless the power steering pump is new and slightly different, or has been bolted up differently, but I can't see it's that because the adjustment bolt and bracket all line up. Also wasn't happy with the original OEM rubber mountings as they made the swirl pot hang down a little too low for my liking, to be honest it wasn't that bad, but preferred it to sit/hang a bit higher up, so I got a Polly bush and cut off 4 pieces roughly about 10mm thick, just had to shape them correctly to fit how I wanted. Plus used longer bolts with an extra lock nut to be save. Si

I've been meaning to update this but been busy, anyway here are some photos of the bracket that needed moving back a bit for the fuel accumulator, as it was too close to the rear axle beam bush bracket. It now fit's perfect. Si

Yeah I believe so just the lift pump and the strainer, plus the small adapter, are used on the MK2 16v golf also from roughly 1990 to 1992 VW Heritage had those 3 items on the shelf when I ordered them, but the rest is special order from Classic Parts. Si

Just seen this on YouTube it's a MK4 Golf gearbox and selector cables complete with gear stick tower. He basically show's all common area's for wear resulting in free play felt through gear stick, plus he has a overhaul bush kit which he fits, and shows the difference before and after. Si

Yeah I've seen these for sale on Ebay before, like you say probably would increase risk of vibration, hence the OEM ones being rubber bushes. I suppose for racing this would be ideal as you don't need to worry about any slight vibration, including having the suspension stiff and lowered to the deck with excess negative camber, but for normal road use you ideally want some comfort so to speak. If your ECU is found to be at fault and you can't source a good replacement, I've used this company in the past they're called ECU TESTING, based in Derbyshire. Once in contact with them they'll need all the numbers from your ECU, they'll then confirm if they've had that type in before, as some have fully encrypted software which they can't always decode to enable them to work on it, if this is the case and they can't decode it, they'll send it back to you free off charge including postage. There's a testing charge of £45 + VAT that applies if no fault is found, plus postage as they'll send your unit back to you. But if ECU is found to be faulty then the above testing charge/fee is waived, and the repair charge is £195 + VAT + postage. Prices are from early 2019 as that's when I used them last. This is a good thread 👍 Keyo I've been watching that YouTube channel (Harry's Garage) for the last 12 month's or more it's great, I'd say he's definitely got one of the best collection of car's around. Really enjoyed it when he was showing his Lamborghini Countach, and the other episode when showing his Ferrari Testarossa, really beautiful car's. The most recent supercar YouTube channel I've just started to watch is called (Number 27) the guy has bagged himself a Ferrari 308 GTS, basically repairing it himself where he can. Always loved the 308 especially after seeing it on the classic TV series Magnum Pi back in the 1980s, apparently they're going to be bringing back a new version of Magnum Pi this year sometime, I can't see it being better then the original ? This theme tune and intro is awesome, I can't see them beating this in the new version. TV series / box set, I'd say definitely (Magnum Pi). (Breaking Bad) = if you've never seen this believe me it is awesome. Also the prequel to Breaking Bad called (Better Call Saul) this isn't such a roller coaster as Breaking Bad, but still has it's adrenaline moments, I thought it was quite good. Also watched on Netflix (Z Nation) basically it's a zombie apocalypse kind of series, really funny in places, but also really gruesome 😆 A part from that haven't really seen much TV. Si

This sounds like a good idea but as others have said we need to be careful, especially if it was someone new on here selling and they're not a known previous member, we'd know nothing about them i.e how trustworthy they are ?? What about if the item/s for sale are put into different categories of there selling value, and the temporary seller/poster would be given a Forum token based on the for sale price, which a percentage would be taken for the token or how many items they have for sale, so for example: £1 to £20 (5 item token small items + 3 separate started threads allowed) percentage taken for token = 6% ?? £1 to £50 (5 to 10 item token small items + 3 separate started threads allowed) percentage taken for token = 12% ?? £1 to £100 (multiple item token 10 plus small items + 5 separate started threads allowed) percentage taken for token = 15% ?? You could have a similar thing for larger items and when Corrado's are being broken up. The percentage taken for token/s will contribute to the running of the Forum, plus once all their 3 or 5 allocated threads are used, they'll have to apply for another token or something ?? Payment wise for new unfamiliar none members they don't receive the funds until a consignment reference has been posted up, and once confirmed will receive funds, minus the token fee. Or the funds are paid into the Corrado Forum account like a business, and the token fee is taken that way, then payment sent to the new unfamiliar temporary seller. Then for familiar previous members it's free to sell or 1% token fee max ?? Si
