I think back in the day possibly the late 1990s the later type fog light lenses were roughly £50 each. Maybe that would be a bench mark to aim for, depending on quantity made ? Many thanks Si

There's one on Ebay now item number 273923655299 Cost £169.99 States from 2.0 16v from 1994 Hope this helps Si

Ok no worries. There were a few for sale on Ebay recently, unfortunately I don't have one for sale myself. Hopefully someone on hear might have one. Alternatively you can have them rebuilt/overhauled but isn't cheap, but is a lot cheaper than buying a new one. VW Classic Parts in Germany have the part you need, but it's hellish expensive as it's a brand-new item, plus it'll just be a bare metering head with the air flow sensor on the back, cost is close to £800 The fuel distributor and fuel pressure regulator are sold separately I believe. The fuel distributor Part number 051 133 481X New price £1000 Fuel governor / fuel pressure regulator Part number 034 133 482 New price possibly £450 can't see this item on VW Classic Parts site. Hope you find one. Si

Hello there, I think the part number for the fuel metering head for the 9A engine is, 051 133 471AX What symptoms are you getting ? No fuel at all to injectors ? Can you hear the main fuel pump prime for a few seconds once ignition is switched on ? Si

I've replaced the lower bolster/s on other vehicles years ago, but if it is the lower bolster on yours, this is what I think purely from looking on ETKA site and looking at photos online of Corrado seats. I think you need to remove the bottom centre upholstery cushion, then that will make it easier to remove/replace the side bolsters. I don't think you can remove/replace them in situ. Once you've removed your front seat from car, lay the seat on one side and underneath you'll see at least 2 long metal rods that are hooked possibly at the ends by what look like large staples, then I think there's a 3rd rod that goes through the front lower edge part of centre upholstery cover, and that is hooked at each end, then the back of centre upholstery cover is actually hooked over and under the seat frame at the back, as there's a large lip there that the cover will attach to, by the plastic strip that's stitched to upholstery cover, it kind of looks like a binder for A4 paper if you know what I mean. Plus at the front or around the sides there could be metal or plastic securing pins/clips, that you might have to remove. Once the centre upholstery cushion is removed, you'll need to remove the side bolster upholstery cover from the outer sides first, then you'll have enough slack in cover to unhook the 1 or 2 plastic bind hook strips, again this plastic strip/s are stitched to upholstery bolster cover. The side upholstery bolster cover/s have two large holes in the outer side near the back, that have to hook over the latch locking pin, so you'll possibly need to remove the plastic side guard that's attached to side/s of seat. Staple clip Part number N0 152 611 Securing pin/clip for bottom upholstery cover Part number 823 863 203 Hope this helps Si

Definitely as stated above. Plus the replacement headlight switch that 8vmatt was doing is much better quality than the OEM switch. I think he was selling them for about £25 Si

Cheers for text/photo mate :thumbleft: Yeah like you say they're superb quality, mine at the moment aren't too bad but certainly know where to go for top notch replacements now. Nice once Si
-
Hello mate, can you please send me a text/WhatsApp message, as they do sound like top quality. Many thanks Si

I'd definitely get the fuel filter changed especially if it hasn't been replaced in 10 years, as the paper/mesh filter itself inside will possibly break up, and can lodge partially obstructing the fuel outlet, which is when you may hear the popping/rattling noise, as it moves around and then suddenly clears. Ideally you should replace your fuel filter once a year, or every 12k to 15k miles, Main Dealerships change them possibly every 25k or 30k, but that's on a company car that's used regularly and will soon do that mileage. On our Corrado's it won't hurt replacing the fuel filter every 6k or 8k or once a year, especially if it's not used regularly. Relay with number 167 stamped on it is for the fuel pump, the main live feed wire is red/yellow which also goes to fuel pump. You should have constant 12v power to fuel relay and fuel pump, when cranking engine via key plus once engine starts. Also you need correct fuel pressure in fuel return line from injector rail to fuel tank, basically should be like a constant syphon effect, helped by the fuel pressure regulator which should maintain a pressure in return line back to fuel tank, if you get a break in this syphon flow it'll effect starting engine. Crank engine over you should be able to feel the fuel relay click on, and then off once you switch ignition off. If you hear/feel the relay going mad and clicking on/off when cranking engine, then clearly something is wrong with your electronics. Hope this helps Si

Hello there, I've had a look on VW Heritage they don't list it, plus I've checked on their Classic Part section again doesn't come up. I've also looked on VW Classic Parts site still can't find those items, but if you type in part number 191 804 080B in the search box, it is recognised as the number flags up, but only shows MK1 / MK2 Golf. The other part number 191 804 079B doesn't seem to be recognised, but I'd still contact VW Heritage especially as part number 191 804 080B is recognised on the Classic Parts site. Si -
Hello mate, I collected my items from my local Royal Mail sorting office earlier on today :thumbleft: Thanks again for great service :salute: Si

Yeah I think the Valeo one is the winner, just found the other thread from 2016 this goes into great detail including photos. Don't want any ponds in our footwells or people throwing bread at the ducks  Link below: http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?95816-Heater-matrix-OEM-supplier Si

I've been looking online looks like VW Heritage have one for sale states for all versions of Corrado. Part number 1H2819031A Cost £32.26 Make: Topran Link https://www.vwheritage.com/1h2819031a-heater-matrix-vw-spare Also looks like it's on Ebay with same part number but here cost is £37.25 States MK3 upgrade ?? Again from VW Heritage Link: http://vi.raptor.ebaydesc.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItemDescV4&item=391808817632&category=9886&pm=1&ds=0&t=1568404170000&ver=0&cspheader=1 Also GSF do or did sell the matrix for the Corrado, but can't remember if that was a Valeo one or not. There's an old thread on here somewhere regarding the matrix, what options are available and if you can replace it in situ or not ? I'm sure there was a discussion on the Valeo matrix. I'll see if I can find that old thread. Si

Yeah it does look good closeup in your photos. I think I'll grab one as I'm sure I've got a £20 Amazon gift voucher somewhere. Si

vw rule replied to gurby28's topic in Parts for Sale
Yeah I've heard or read that elsewhere regarding the Corrado's being scrapped for parts, purely to customise their boyed up rides. It would be great if the VW Dealers stocked parts for longer, but the parts guy I spoke to at VW in Poole, said they only stock parts for roughly 10 to 12 years max per model, after that they don't replenish stock, unless you're lucky enough to grab one of the last few left. Apparently the same thing is starting now with the early 2008 MK3 Sciroccos, it's becoming difficult to source OEM parts now. Si
