Still workin on it.Guna get some hooks welded to it so the original rubber bands can still hold it in place,and need to make a right angle on the tube comin out of box as the samco doesnt fit through the hole.

My 16v flywheel is half the original weight.Think it weighed 18 somethings and now it weighs 9 somethings

Ive just had a mate fab me up this airbox outta ally,which will allow me to run a cone filter under the wheel arch. Its basically a prototype at the mo but he is prepared to make more if people are interested? Not sure how to go about stoppin filter sucking up water from the road yet,but il proberly make a shield of some sort. Heres the pic

mine was set at 9degrees by stealth but i now have vsam so cam programme as much advance in as i like where ever i like in the rev range! -

for it to hit 110 in 10mins it would have to be a airlock in the coolant sytem.It might not be anything to do with your filter,just another prob that showed up same time -
Its also worth noting that you should have your clutch pressure plate balanced to the flywheel aswell

Carbs are poo, independent throttle bodies arent! Using itbs,you can map the fueling to get it spot on to match the increased airflow,which will boost torque and power everywhere

Ive recently fitted a flowed head to my 1.8 16v and wow wot a difference! at 4k its amazin. I ported my own tb cos that way you can go as mad as you like,look at the pics of rileys!!!

You can use bike itbs,need custom manifold,ecu,injectors etc.Theres a thread on clubgti at the mo.Im guna be using nissan pulsar itbs on mine

Ive got a piperx induction kit for my 1.8 16v which replaces the whole lower half of the airbox,its up forsale aswell! Im cuurently having a prototype alloy airbox made with silicone piping to route a cone filter under the wheel arch! keep your eyes peeled as il post a topic when its made

itbs allow the use of some mental cams and with a flowed head should make 200bhp!!! your lookin at £2000 for badger and it proberly wont gain much on a standard engine
