Not sure if anyone is updating the list in the 1st page but I've now got VCDS and I'm happy to help anyone in the Cambridgeshire/surrounding area, plus if anyone wants me to bring it along to meets or shows etc I'm going to just let me know.

I've just bagged myself a diagnostic scanner,

it's the VGATE VS450 scanner,

it's purely for VW's and Audi's from 1990 to 2009,

but says it may do newer models as well.

I used it on my Corrado today as my ABS light came on,

scanner said it was the O/S/F ABS sensor,

so cleared the fault code and it's been ok so far,

but may still have to purchase a new sensor,

if it's on the way out.

But anyway if anyone needs any help,

in the Bournemouth / Hampshire area,

I've now got a scanner,

with both leads 16 pin OBD2 and 2x2 data link lead.

The 2x2 lead only works with this scanner,

if there's 4 wires connected to the black & white plugs,

if there's only 3 wires connected it may not work on your vehicle.

Si

Anyone near Swansea with vagcom? I think ours may be using too much fuel, wondering if there's any faults that need sorting before she gets remapped.

If no one else closer is able to then that'll be fine! Do you have vcds? I have used a generic scanning tool on it

Hi, I have just swap gearbox from auto to manual in my 1994 VR6. Does not start.

I think that ECU still thinking it's an AUTO>???

What can I do ? will VCDS Lite help?

- I heard that ECU need to be re-map to know that its on manual.

- or do I need to just unplug the Auto box ECU?

Thanks
