vw rule 19 Posted May 14, 2014 I've just bagged myself a diagnostic scanner, it's the VGATE VS450 scanner, it's purely for VW's and Audi's from 1990 to 2009, but says it may do newer models as well. I used it on my Corrado today as my ABS light came on, scanner said it was the O/S/F ABS sensor, so cleared the fault code and it's been ok so far, but may still have to purchase a new sensor, if it's on the way out. But anyway if anyone needs any help, in the Bournemouth / Hampshire area, I've now got a scanner, with both leads 16 pin OBD2 and 2x2 data link lead. The 2x2 lead only works with this scanner, if there's 4 wires connected to the black & white plugs, if there's only 3 wires connected it may not work on your vehicle. dr_mat 0 Posted April 14, 2016 FYI all, I can confirm that the teeny tiny smartphone-app-and-bluetooth-dongle OBDeleven tool works just fine on the Corrado VR6. http://obdeleven.com/ Tidy price too.
