That looks promising looks like the right shape and if not correct maybe something you could make work with a bit of hokery pokery.

    Sill repair panels

Such a shame you cant post pics on here, it's getting pretty difficult to communicate without them or for members to show their restoration work to give others inspiration or ideas.

To be honest chap 90 % sure it will not have the same profile as a golf, you'll need to cut out from a breaker or someone that can fabricate the sill, the A pillar part of the sill that meets the wing is still available for one side, the whole sill panel is made up of the A pillar sill, the part that is obsolete and the rear quarter.

    Sill repair panels

Not sure I'm just going to give the repair panels to my body shop and if they are no good they will have to make something up and Ill have some spares for my MK2 golf. I cannot see anything else on the market for a repair panel for that area. I believe the Corrado has the same floor panel and lip that rises but I think you need the panels that are on the outside of these ?? Floor panel same for below models Corrado (09/88 - 07/95) position 2 at drawing 2 Golf 2 Rallye (08/89 - 07/91) similar to position 2 at drawing 1 Golf 2 Syncro (08/85 - 07/91) similar to position 2 at drawing 1 Golf Country (08/90 - 07/91) similar to position 2 at drawing 1 Jetta 2 syncro (08/85 - 07/91) similar to position 2 at drawing 1 https://www.vwheritage.com/191803207a-left-floor-pan-outer-edge-vw-spare https://www.vwheritage.com/191803208a-right-floor-pan-outer-edge-vw-spare The thing is a Rado has two panels on the outside of the edge of the floor panel so not sure these will be any good to you..??

    Sill repair panels

From what I can see both are now obsolete . On heritage they have outer sill repair panels both sides but are listed the same as a golf MK 2 I have some at home they go about half way back on the floor pan not sure how good they are but I guess it’s something for your body shop to work with . I have two rust spots just under the a pillar underside of car so hope these will rectify that . Think your issues are the Rocker covers under the front door ?
  6. Lets see how much this goes for. 12 k is my guess or even more. Bet the owner of the car is gutted. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Porsche-911-Carrera-2-964-Engine-and-gearbox-with-38K-miles/143430383833?_trksid=p2485497.m4902.l9144
  7. A mechanic I was chatting to the other told me about one of his customers diesel BMW and the timing chain snapped, the customer was in a really crap situation as had only owned the car a few months, put them in a terrible dilemma cost for engine rebuild v selling car for little value.
  8. This would be a dream car for me if I won the lottery, also I imagine this is now at a turning point, should average a rise of 5k a year in till it hits the 200k plus. If people are not sure what the GT2 version is, it's basically a turbo version lightweight with only rear drive so a real widowmaker . top of the range 911. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Porsche-911-GT2/283516465238?hash=item4202e5f056:g:vUkAAOSwiEpc2Tmg
  9. Hopefully Si I will make an update once received. Might be well worth doing a bulk order on these from that German Audi company, basically steal them off the Audi community. Might be free delivery over a certain order, or even an Audi dealer might have access to them, they were about £7 from Heritage with £3,50 posted so I suppose paying £19.00 all in is OK considering VW do not offer them for sale.
  10. After reading this German corrado forum looks like the trumpet screw part numbers early and late are actually the same part. So fingers crossed. https://www.vwcorrado.de/forum/archive/index.php/t-120271.html Ok good news on the the description here says it fits. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUDI-UR-QUATTRO-TURBO-COUPE-80-90-COUPE-B2-BONNET-CABLE-END-CLAMP-811823555-/264511066887
  11. It is an early corrado part number that was superseded in 1991 and the lock rod unlocking loop was also superseded so 50/50 if it fits , the original part numbers were quattros so maybe as the Quattro parts were been made obsolete they updated the part numbers to a Corrado. I will update as soon as I have compared them.
  12. Right the obsolete screw trumpet. Just purchased this off ebay, half the price then others on the market(that includes postage)Just under £20.00 Looks correct like the corrado one, off an Audi Quattro UR part number. 811823555 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Audi-ur-quattro-coupe-nipple-sleeve-811823555/223633703911?_trksid=p2485497.m4902.l9144 Once I have received it I will update this thread, it's down to the end circumference of the trumpet end that stops it pulling through the metal loop. You can also purchase it from Germany from Audi Tradition(equivalent of VW classics) might be cheaper its 8.21 euro + postage. Or your local audi might be able to source it for you. https://trshop.audi.de/konakart/ShowCartItems.do
  13. They dio remake the screw trumpet a few years back for about £7.00 from classics and the other guide trumpet was obsolete at the time, now it has reversed which is available , they like to warp our minds.
  14. Might well do Si, Im just quizzing him at the moment to make sure they are built exactly to the same specification as the part number and not just fit the VW Iltis. He has all ready told me they fit a lot of different cars from the VAG range and has sold a fair few to Audi owners. .
  15. This locking trumpet definitely works on a Rado Si as this is constructed in a different way then the OE Corrado trumpet with the screw ? The other side the guide trumpet is the same part number for the Scirocco and Rado Si so shared the same part and I believe they have been obsolete for some time so good to see they are available at an affordable cost.
  16. Yes Si I have ordered a couple it is an English chap who is based in Belgium and specialises in VW military vehicles , the lengths we go to source spares ha . its 60 Euro for x2 sets including postage. They also sell the parts separate to make up the kit.
  17. Nice one SI I couldnt stomach the silly money sellers are asking for these with £15-20 shipping to add. :smug:
  18. All you have to do Delfins is. Call heritage tell them you would like to order a classics part from Germany and communicate the part numbers. It will cost you about £3.50 if its just a small order. The reason for it been a cheaper delivery then direct from Classics is that they bulk order the parts and ship them over in roughly 6 weeks intervals, so expect to wait up to 6 weeks. If anyone is not aware there is a classics search facility on their website, just click the classics emblem on the bottom left drop down field, however be warned I have seen parts available on classics in Germany that do not show there and have had to inform the Heritage staff member that ii is available and to add it on even though they have told me it is not available. So do a part search on the classics site as a cross reference.
  19. Depends what colours the black ones are still available from Classics for left and right. 01c last numbers mean saturn black. Number 3 on their diagram. https://www.volkswagen-classic-parts.de/en/verkleidung-98e1da.html https://www.volkswagen-classic-parts.de/en/verkleidung-c4fccc.html
  20. Also guys think I have found a new source for the bonnet lock pin set. Part number 431898550 which are obsolete. They look correct anyway and have the part number listed, good price as well. https://www.iltisshop.be/bodywork/bonnet-lock-complete-set-new
  21. Am I correct in saying that the only difference is on the other trumpet that is has a thread in it ? Is it worth not buying some and getting a thred put in the other one .
  22. Hi Guys, Are these trumpets that are rare and was only from Phoenix engineering? Are these them think they have been remade by classics for a fair price ? Looks like the trumpet with the screw is still not available though on the other side. https://www.volkswagen-classic-parts.de/en/hulse-c51beb.html
  23. There OK mate he has been known to be bad at posting, worth going to visit him to be honest if your up that way. Little fuzz is worth a shot on here.

Not rubbing it in as I own both a rado and golf Mk2 but look how many seals they do for a Mk2 golf and cost of the seals. Seems like the Corrado is getting a bad deal from the Heritage world. https://www.vwheritage.com/mk2-golf/mk2-golf-seals-&-rubber
