  1. I know of a 190e 2.3 cosworth sitting right there pilling on the dust if anyone wants a project.
  2. Got a massive itch for one of these they have just aged so well and have really cool BBS options and cool retro Hella round lights and spots, also totally cool interior with class door cards and dash etc. Parts seem to be cheaper then the rip off VW classic scene as well. Stock model. Beautiful car IMO https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1990-BMW-318iS-E30/254417988803?_trksid=p2485497.m4902.l9144 Cool man in the shed build (nice engine swap and colour with rare parts fitted) https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-e30-325i-REDUCED-LAST-CHANCE-NO-OFFERS/223755684827?_trksid=p2485497.m4902.l9144

I think the part your referring to is known in the car world as a intake elbow or boot. You need to at least put on what model of corrado you own for a part number to be put on this thread. Also there is an early and late variation in the VR6 model so also age of car. However if you have an aftermarket filter a stock one might not be suitable.
  4. So I guess your thinking things through whether to break or throw some money on here? I suppose you could break her and use the funds towards another one Bri, or are you thinking about another motor?
  5. That belongs to a lad call El from Scotland and he has the car in very good condition it is a blue one. I purchased some BBS Rx2 alloys off him earlier this year.
  6. Ah ok mate thought for a second then you had let her go to the land of nod. Do you think you'll get her right then sell her on and maybe get another one ?
  7. This thread is spinning me out I just had a whitie.
  8. Have you now got rid of the car Brian with it been on the trailer ?
  9. Sorry to change the subject but does any of the members own a R36 conversion on here, surely that is the holy grail of engine swaps for the corrado ?
  10. To be fair Forum members main priority is to keep the Forum and knowledge alive, so if something positively adds to the survival of the site then surely that is a good thing. However we are the members not the owner of the Forum so it all depends what Toby the owner decides. Personally I would like to see an E copy or a Hardcopy of the Corrado Wiki to ensure a permanent template of knowledge.
  11. You can order from classics through VW Heritage, cheap postage. 1H0 199 273D https://www.volkswagen-classic-parts.de/en/catalog/product/view/id/21152/s/konsole-0ff0af/ This is why I love my golf Mk2 16v, for a new front engine mount bracket only £19.00. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-GOLF-MK2-1-6-1-6D-1-8-GTI-ENGINE-MOUNT-BRACKET-FRONT-C829/190598258338?epid=1826289862&hash=item2c608a9ea2:g:QmYAAOSwhaBas3-U

On the part diagram it is showing no variation of the stock light loom. Loom is part number 535941951 and no 20 on diagram. http://www.oemepc.com/vw/part_single/catalog/vw/markt/USA/modell/COR/year/1995/drive_standart/76/hg_ug/941/subcategory/216000/part_id/3691897/lang/e#sec_20

Seen this as well and they are a great company but says not for USA cars . So there must be a difference in USA lights so you consider this in whatever you decide. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Cable-Harnes-for-Series-Headlight-VW-Corrado-2-0-16V-G60-VR6/223726467770?hash=item341722faba:g:VcoAAOSwn7JYEL9i
  16. If it's based on rarity then my colour Magic Black is rarer in the Corrado then mystic blue and the Green, I'm sure other colours are rarer as well out there,my car came with leather, Solitudes are common as were also used on the Golf Mk3, Speedlines are more desirable to most, I can get my front grill sprayed but I prefer the matt black stock grill as does not look as garish, I can get a storm badge and stick it on my gear shift trim and same applies to the rear boot decal. Am I correct in saying they are the only differences in a Storm ? So is it fair to say they should of called it the Drizzle as it didn't really make a Storm

To be honest it looks well made but it is not yet fitted and tested, it was purchased as a spare. I'm far from been knowledgeable about electrics to make a review, I would post some pictures on here for you guys to examine but unfortunately this site is not functioning to allow that.
  21. Is a cool badge to be fair, can't believe VW dont use the branding anymore, as when any car person sees it they think wow that is special wonder what a Storm has different , sort of has a rare mythical tang to it.
  22. Yeah the throttle is on the wrong side isn't it ? Where are all the electric bits that go with it says complete. maybe it doesn't have a piggy ecu.
  23. Coullstar there is a VR6T Storm on facebook corrado club GB for sale , didnt you use to own one ? 385 bhp Recaros Spoonfed extended spoiler 16 speedlines Quaife LSD 6 pot front brakes https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10221534332011394&set=pcb.1377116152468570&type=3&theater
  24. Ok mate Ive had Mustangs, V8 Quattros and flat six Porsche's and the Golf Mk7 is one of the best all round performance cars I have ever owned, I dealt my old Mustang would keep up with her on the B roads. Cracking car. I was going to get the R but just the extra weight the GTI just flys down the lanes. What sort of R32 was you hoping to get with 6k would of been a bit of a shed a thet price. you need to spend at least 8k for a half decent one and more like the 10k- 14k mark, prices on these have gone up in recent times. 6k would be a bit of a project car I imagine if that is what your after? Credit to VW I know a lot of of folks touting it the best looking golf since the MK2 golf and I totally agree although MK2 golf big bumper is still my fav Golf by a long shot.
