Good day

So you have the tag by the airbox to ? I sort of like Black Magic or shall we just call them the VOO DOO RADO :thumbleft:

Good day

It's a rare colour for a Corrado but became mainstream on future VAG products, mine had a spray job four years ago by the last owner so you never know that tag might not be VW but that of the spray shop, if you take the air box out you can see it on my wing. Has anyone else got one of the paint tags ? Vince at Stealth has got one in Brilliant Black.

Good day

Same as mine LC9Z chap it is known as Black Magic and quite a rare colour I believe rarer then Storm colours Ive been told as was also a run out paint option. This is my paint tag on the front drivers wing, you can just make out the last few digits.
6. Perfect night blue is the best colour in the MK7 range and also I would take a GTI over a R because I prefer the branding and looks, quad exhaust look over kill on a R IMO.

Which Dipstick?

This is weird just checked my dipstick as its red and a late 95 VR6 . It looks the same shape as the late version dipstick on VW Heritage but has part number like the early dipstick part number but last letter is an L , any advice folks ? Late dipstick https://www.vwheritage.com/021115607-oil-dipstick-for-vr6-vw-spare My dipstick part looks like part number 021 115 611 L
8. JP Group pump on their website same as VW Heritage but no mention of bar pressure . VW Hertiage might of used the VDO sender with it not sure. https://www.jpgroupclassic.com/product/?id=1115202700 Would be interesting to see if this is actually a 4 bar and if they supply a sender to hummm.
9. Your chassis number used the Pierberg 4 bar pump. So you will need a sender and pump as you can no longer get a Pierberg pump as Fen mentioned . Your looking around £230 for VDO pump and sender or I reckon about £110 for the JP group but you will have to make some calls to JP Group to find out the part number of the sender and cost because VW Heritage are charging way too much and sold out . http://www.oemepc.com/vw/part_single/catalog/vw/markt/RDW/modell/COR/year/1995/drive_standart/76/hg_ug/931/subcategory/213010/part_id/3706612/lang/e
10. So he needs a new sender and a 4 bar pump , either the JP set up or VDO.
11. This is what VW Heritage offer JP Group pump + housing but sold out and more expensive then the VDO. https://www.vwheritage.com/1h0919651q-fuel-pump-with-housing-for-g60-and-vr6-vw-spare I believe this is the same pump but I would still check it's 4 bar and do a bit of research. You would have to source the sender to but a phone call to JP Group should sort that out , reckon it will be around £110 all in . Do make sure that it is 4 bar , my Bosch was advertised as 4 bar but I called up Bosch and they declared no its a 3 bar we recommend you only use a 4 bar pump. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-JP-GROUP-Fuel-Feed-Unit-1115202700-Top-Quality/192891170149?epid=1180809074&hash=item2ce935ad65:g:DS8AAOSwyHRaubr4&frcectupt=true The thing is though is your a 3 bar pump if its a Peirburg so maybe you should not get a 4 bar . Some bargains here for the 4 cylinder Corrados Fuel pumps. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Pierburg-Fuel-Pump-721088-VW-Corrado-Jetta-Golf-Mercedes-C32-AMG-SL55-AMG/254176099712?hash=item3b2e137d80:g:VEkAAOSw7D9cl9-m&frcectupt=true
12. I went for the VDO pump as it was 4 bar and the Bosch was only 3 bar, it only cost me £135.00 plus delivery , they must of made a price error and they honoured it  I went for pump and sender just because I don't mind changing any part that is over 20 years old and can cross it off the part could easily fail list. Here is the cheapest I could find today. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VDO-Fuel-Pump-4bar-Electric-For-VOLKSWAGEN-CORRADO-E22-041-060Z/312552428227?epid=1416938808&hash=item48c59392c3:g:Jk0AAOSwwJJcoDwx

Good day

Good looking car Harrier , I think our cars must of been some of the last Corrados made coming off the line, mine was registered in Febuary 96 I believe and was a Northmahpton VW dealers car. Is your paint Magic Black same as mine, do you have your paint code at hand ? Cheers.
14. This is the size of the stock speedlines if this helps. 6.5 x 15 and 15lbs in weight, ET 43. 5 x 100 for late models, early models have four lugs. I actually think these are the best stock alloys made for the Rado but have 4 lugs and mine have 5. https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/222855402047?chn=ps Not sure they even do original BBS LM in 5 x 100 just nasty after market ones. Werent they primarily for a BMW which were 5 x 112. Oh hold on these are very nice ! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Original-BBS-LM-066-LeMans-7x17-5x100-BBS-OZ-VW-Golf-Polo-Audi-A3-Subaru/302999144016?hash=item468c280650:g:R6UAAOSwsqxcFnr-

Good day

Well done another Rado saved, a lot of kids have wrecked these cars, look at the MK2 golfs they have shot up in price due to limited numbers, immature decisions made by their owners literally hacking them to pieces and slamming them that low the chassis literally cracks.
16. I think 16 is the sweet spot and the golf anniversary BBS split rims tick all the boxes for me personally.
17. Hum this is a nice motor . https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/E30-BMW-1990/223502122601
18. I would really like a double garage but love my house and only has a single which in need for storage space for my other hobbies. If I ever move again I wouldn't mind a plot of land that you could build one of these bad boys , if you had good access to the rear or side of the property you could try and build a triple. Nice bimmer by the way. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ENGLISH-GREEN-OAK-TIMBER-FRAME-GARAGE-CARPORT-TWO-BAY-OUTBUILDING-CARTLODGE/183485831496?hash=item2ab89b9948:g:5kcAAMXQoYJSLZY7&frcectupt=true
19. Hi Moo, Could ask this ebay seller. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/vw-golf-mk1-mk2-mk3-uprated-headlight-loom-harness-corrado-gti-Scirocco-Vento/292804895796?hash=item442c882434:g:a7gAAOSwaNBUeNlq&frcectupt=true Also I used these guys for some hinges from France. http://www.classic-store.com/product_info.php?products_id=79602 I also believe a member was making them off here at some point might even be the ebay seller.
20. They do look class on a Rado Sean agreed.
21. Agree with the above 17 are to large, they do look good the LM though. I went for set of these BBS RS771 but managed to snag a set for £300 fully refurbished. Also got the speedlines refurbished quilted up in the garage as I think they look mint to on a Rado. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-VW-BBS-RS771-RS-771-Golf-Anniversary-Mk3-Mk4-Alloy-Wheels-5-Stud-16-6-5J-ET42/303132556366?hash=item46941bbc4e:g:S1oAAOSw3v5YoQnQ&frcectupt=true
22. Do like an E30 318IS with the check interior ! Had a NOVA SR 1.3 in the late 80s that was a fun car and I think they sell for a pretty penny now alongside the Renault GT 5 Turbo. Vauxhall made some pretty iconic cars back then. I'm amazed they are still manufacturing to be honest with the likes of Saab going bump.
23. Unfortunately if vag don't reveal anything it's just one of those have to go through the part list, however I can honestly say after going through similar car not running right and sorting it, I drove to Derbyshire today and my VR was growling down the carriageway and all the BMW 2.0 crew got an arse slapping, Im going to put a ASBO on my RADO if this carries on .
24. Finally got a few things together for my car that I have been after for a while. I know AMOS gets a lot of bad hype on here and deserving so. However I called him today and said I was popping down. So he has 5 or six cars just sitting there and a upstairs full of parts, I managed to get the following. Rear tailgate seal which is now obsolete was £100 and something new Rear push rod buffer which is now obsolete £30 something on ebay for a small plastic grommet !!!!! Rear tailgate upper trim panel obsolete but was a £100 and something. All for £40 notes so my advice is do use him but you need to call to find out his there which he usually is and just pop down there and get stuck in. Also an update on other things going on. My MFA last digit is not displaying correctly and I was going to hang on for god knows how long in till a second hand one that may only last a few months as they are all going to fail at some stage. Heard of people sending them off to get them fixed but with no joy and a lot of aggro. So to my amazement VW classics still do the whole board with MFA and everything, it cost £188 + Vat but think how many things can go wrong on that board with warning lights etc . Only a few years back or so they were retailing in £580 range so it's less then half price so I took the hit and got a new one, just wondering if it will effect my mileage reading anyone ? Number 3 on the diagram part number 535919042AH , there are different variations this is for a Corrado VR6 from chassis F 50-P-000 001 http://www.oemepc.com/vw/part_single/catalog/vw/markt/RDW/modell/COR/year/1995/drive_standart/76/hg_ug/919/subcategory/211020/part_id/3695483/lang/e Also received my VDO 4 bar fuel pump from these guys within a week from Germany, its nearly £70 cheaper then anywhere else I could find. https://www.buycarparts.co.uk/vdo/1737314?&gadw=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIlv-W2tj14QIV7bvtCh2UVwVpEAAYASAAEgJLO_D_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
