  1. Thanks lads they have come out well.
  2. Finally got the caps and the wheels have completed there refurbishment - just need to get them on my car or hang them on my wall ha! Pictures of completed alloys below.
  3. The most desirable thing to do and cool would be to make a KR 16V G60- but I imagine would cost a lot money. Corrado Limited.

For a cheap and easy illumination is it worth changing out your ecu and fuel relay - have a feel of them when the car is hot and see if they feel really hot or looking a bit burnt out and tired.
  5. Give me your seats Sean ! I saw these on a picture the other day thought they looked pretty good and can get a cheap set off an Audi 80 and have VDO gauges and housing. For the ashtray ideally there would be an aftermarket pop out cup holder. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUDI-80-CABRIOLET-COUPE-VDO-GAUGES-WITH-HARNESS-AND-RELAY/333591755529?hash=item4dab9e3b09:g:sUMAAOSw5OpesZE5

For original chap ? The one to the ecu .
  7. Good stuff mate, I spoke to Vince earlier and he agreed with you to for the billet ones , also agreed no need to change the cables which I'm happy about because of cost . What you want though mate is that clip on the bottom of the shaft and the tube but you cant get it, hopefully yours will be in good condition. Think you might have the bottom shaft clip furthest bag right top - where you get that from ?

We need them to make these. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Phenix-Engineering-Corrado-Billet-Euro-Light-Adjuster-Kit/264378651065 Went for the gear cable bracket billetes and emailed them to say we would like them made.

No mate that was just re sprayed with VHT 800 degree silver manifold spray - absolute best stuff I have come across and also did my stock top engine trim in it and looks brand new. What I can say is Heat shields are ridiculously expensive from VW but this one is not to bad at £36.00, have seen one new one left from Latvia but is obsolete and is on ebay with expensive postage and dont look new! Plenty of second hand ones available though. 021253037E

This looks nice its a Birmingham Firm doing the same sort of work as Phenix and Gurven but a lot cheaper without the USA postage . Type in corrado or VR6 on the sellers shop. I might have to pop down there see what else we shall get made ha. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Corrado-GOLF-MK3-VR6-Passat-Sharan-Manifold-Stainless-Steel-Heat-Shield-AL072/253272153714?hash=item3af8325e72:g:cFEAAOSwiLdV-sKu
  13. Sure might be a good mod for a tired tower and linkages but not sure about if you was replacing it all - might detract- the short shift kit might be a bit hard on the components so the billets might be a good idea.
  14. Thanks for your help be interesting to know if anyone has the metal billets fitted and if there were any negatives ? The rubber bushes and inserts are still available so need to decide which way to go, it maybe the rubber ones are great for ten- fithteen years or so and better all round with all things considered. .
  15. Ok chap so that covers both the part numbers 55 and 56 ? Are there any negatives using the alloy ones, vibrations through the gear stick etc ? Found these in my home city https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Audi-Seat-skoda-02A-02J-Custom-Billet-Gearbox-Cable-Change-Linkage-Bushe-153/253527583023?hash=item3b076be92f:g:enwAAOSwUP5cQfgS
  16. Ok thanks chap does the below link cover both part number 55 and 56 ? Cheers. https://phenixengineering.com/shop/shifter-bracket-bushings/
  17. So 55 and 56 ? https://volkswagen.7zap.com/en/rdw/corrado/cor/1991-76/7/711-122000/#42 Any idea how many of each I need ? Thanks
  18. Ok I got you drawing three off classics nice one .
  19. Using 7 zap now as safe can you confirm the numbers off there Fen please as them nimbers dont make sense off the diagram you was looking at . Thanks https://volkswagen.7zap.com/en/rdw/corrado/cor/1991-76/7/711-122000/#42
  20. Here is the cable chap is that the bushes your on about on the end ? P.s I have stopped using oempec because of a trojan warning what are other folks using for diagram ? Cheers. https://www.volkswagen-classic-parts.de/en/wahlseilzug.html
  21. Thanks mate are these rubber bushings on the cables from factory ? I'm actually thinking if investing in two new cables so was wondering if the bushes come on them - already collected some new old stock x 3 linkages and the weight so on the way to a great gear shift hopefully.
  22. Yep 100 percent issue in storing in an older house is the garage concrete floor does not tend to have insulation or membrane, so hugely important to lift them off the floor to prevent damp/ moisture erosion . I used some scaffold boards two deep then some damp sheeting on top of the boards and alloys on top. I put a layer of membrane between each tyre but pierce holes in the membrane so everything can breath. I just use some scaffold monarflex sheeting when I say membrane.
  23. This is the Gema shifter and the parts that ware down on the stock one and are obsolete Was £160.00 including shipping which is pretty good for a German engineered sports short shift kit. its the last batch so thought go on then. Are all the seals on it all ready or do I still need the seal kit off ebay as well from any other area in the gear shift. No mods or cutting for this just bolt on and off and comes with instructions. Has a liftetime guarantee which I have never seen before from a carpart.
  24. Thanks for the offer chap. 'I've purchased the Gema one mate I really like the look if it and will be good for someone to try something else to report on it- it does say though it is the last batch to be made. Its the clip at the bottom of the shaft - the video on the post talks about it Fen and I heard mention Gema in Germany is the only place he has seen them as you could only buy them from VAG but was part of the complete unit and obsolete.
