  1. Just seen the shipping cost 225 dollars from Australia that makes them not a good buy ouch ! Someone will love that Zender spoiler saw one on ebay for 500 euro the other day.
  2. Hold on before you sell them I have seen this for sale - maybe build the kit up for your 16V Rado- they do say up to 08/91 or I would of got them for my VR, Oh I like some rocker covers on a car . https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-CORRADO-ZENDER-SIDE-SIDE-SKIRTS-PAIR-G60-2-DOOR-COUPE-4-639-01-3-GENUINE/111702505089?hash=item1a01fcf681:g:44UAAOSwT6pVih71
  3. Well sounds like the destiny of the car is truly concluded ha! Mine says ltd edition on the side and sunken think its worth more - only joking raised script chap. Thanks Tony much appreciated. Same with the front indicator lenses - please can you make the effort to make them look the original Hella ones. I was researching these kits and came across this thread. There was one in America selling them made by freedom designs - not sure if they were a copy of the X1 or the USA dealers for kamei. Company was called Rocky Mountain Motorworks and were purchased by another company called mid america motorworks . https://www.mamotorworks.com/vw https://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?2413711-FS-Brand-New-Kamei-(aka-Freedom-Design)-FULL-Body-kit-for-Corrado Read this thread has some excellent info and links for the different types of bodykits . http://vwcorrado.freecarblogs.com/2009/02/03/corrado-body-kits-bumpers-and-spoilers/
  4. Very nice, I know of only one other car in the UK that has one fitted and that is James Rawlins, but he is yet to 100 percent confirm it is a kamei kit. Its pretty annoying that there are loads of maxpower over the top kits and they went to a lot of hassle to make them- why not just copy the X1 kit - less is more. Right I m going on a 100 mile trip to get a pint of milk .
  5. They are a lovely body kit - I think some rocker covers look pretty damn good on a rado . TD 25 years that's some dedication fairplay.
  6. Also the bonnet lip where is that from ?
  7. Love that colour is it moonlight blue or a dark green ? - reminds me of a 964 in midnight blue favourite colour ever on a car! I know you have the Recaro seats TD what else you got hiding in there ? Red does contrast great with a dark colour and a red decal notifies sport in the classic VW line up so it is fitting.
  8. Thanks for kind words ABV. Keep your eye on the classifieds chap - as mentioned Vince told me for some reason he has seen a fair few VSR and Schrick that his customers had purchased from Canada and imported to the UK, so there must of been a seller over there some years back who sold some good units- Mk3 vr6 classifieds you never know what might be hiding under the bonnet .
  9. Thanks for your kind words mate 👍
  10. Yeah you spotted that then 500 miles back in for oil and filter service- another reason to clock some miles 🙂
  11. Still waiting for the caps chap- but sadly was in the car an hour ago looking at the gauges illuminated. they help light the whole centre console to be honest- not cheap to source a set but they are worth it guys. I can Imagine if Vince gave yo the engine breaking in sheet Shaun you would look at it in utter discuss ha !
  12. Few , ore pics for Geri. Still have a small iphone 5 so camera not good, can't stand the big iphones in my pocket when I'm up in the air scaffolding.
  13. Thanks Shaun not going to lie seems pointless owning the Mk2 golf now, I certainly would not lend you the Car Shaun for the next month you animal, shredding drive shafts like chipwood 😀
  14. Think Pops is still undercover in Farnham Hospital last seen dressed as a traffic warden with a torch looking through a grill of a tatty VR for some reason 😀
  15. Thanks mate -You got it in one Sean very hard to hold back on the throttle its like Adam eating the apple Thanks Geri and sorry chap I will get some better photos tomorrow looking downwards - car was parked nose up a hill so i could get the sun reflecting off the schrick . . Well they do say red in the animal kingdom is for danger and the VR can be snappy little sh.. when it wants to be ! If you want chap I can give you a link for any badges the price on them have come to more like £40.00 and less just let me know. Thanks TD Im actually looking for a courier job to Scotland for the next two weeks ha !
  16. Thanks Cressa youll be there soon mate its worth the pain , agony and empty pockets + you have aircon grrr !
  17. Black magic finally returns home. Many thanks Vince ! Even though I have owned a VR for a few years today was the first ever day i really found out what it was all about. The engine was a completely different beast even though I couldn't go past 3500 revs because of bedding in. Cannot thank Vince enough, the engine was down on power before because of the bent valves causing low compression, but now with the Schick ecu chip from Vince and new cylinders and pistons she is a different creature- the dynamics and performance on the car are on an another level. Attached a few photos of her back in the bay and bedding procedure. Please note we all have a different take on bedding in a new engine but what you have to remember is VW have multi million pound precise machinery and constant heat at 20 degrees - so you need to go gentle on a rebuilt engine that has been honed aftermarket as per Stealth advice.
  18. Wow that was bad Shaun- I know someone who corrado was that bad he had to cut off the whole front part of a donor car roof and get it welded onto his car. Its that wire the window fitters use to cut out the glass it scratches all the paint and then the rust shows its evil face in secret below the seal.
  19. That will most lightly be Scuttle airbox gasket or build up of debris in the scuttle area especially on the corner drain channel or debris under the three plastic lower windscreen trims. Internal Door card membrane. Or if losing coolant heater matrix leak.
  20. No point fitting new seals to a rusty edge - there are good window fitters outhere I now an Italian in Stoke On Trent who is the bees knees been in the game 40 years. Its the sort of job you want to get done in a body shop undercover so when the glass is out you can make any necessary repairs if required. Joys of classic car ownership. All the seals for windscreen are still available so you wouldn't dream of reusing the old seals.
  21. The outer surround trim should just fit in without any adhesive- what happens here is when an aftermarket windscreen is fitted it slightly drops down therefore the gap is slighly to large and the surround trim does not house securely- you can just use some gasket seal to house it securely- tiger seal will be too strong and might remove your paint if you ever replace the window. Your biggest issue is that rust mate I'm sorry to say, you have a big job on your hands there to rectify that issue will be pretty bad uderthere chap Im afraid- will need glass out and rotten metal cutting out. . Someone has been in there before - as mentioned the windscreen gets bonded to the car and then surround trim is pushed in the gap- should not have that bit hanging out the car mate. I know because mine had the same issue - thankfully no rust undermine but had the flapping corners but sorted with some mild sealer to glue them in. If autoglass did the glass replacement they do a lifetime guarantee call them up if that is the case and see what they can do for you. From factory they would of had spacers for a perfect fit for the screen - a good fitter would have replicated this with a marker before he removed the old window. I even purchased a new OE VW surround seal for mine and they still came out on the corners so it is 100 percent the windscreen has dropped a little on fitting.
  22. Ok thanks for that. Cressa is the expert on aircon the other parts are available new but not cheap. 535837440A Window seal outer right https://www.volkswagen-classic-parts.de/en/fensterfuhrung-corrado-f8e0d5.html Left and right air guide 535805825D + 535805826A https://www.volkswagen-classic-parts.de/en/luftfuehrung-9673f3.html https://www.volkswagen-classic-parts.de/en/luftfuhrungskanal-bremsbeluftung-corrado-a5475e.html Screws and bolts can be see on diagram no 15 and 14.
