Here is the car . Also appeared on this thread on piston heads on page 4 I imagine the VSR was sold on. Wonder if it still has the OE gauge pods. https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=23&t=1407481&i=60

What makes you think it may be abandoned or stolen- is it in the middle of a field or something ? Its last mot expired May 2019 . Is the car still Southampton way ?
  3. Four pages full of corrado on the classifieds in Germany. Fair few with recaro seats and G60 Nothelle- also a rar Irish Green with Recaro. https://suchen.mobile.de/fahrzeuge/search.html?damageUnrepaired=NO_DAMAGE_UNREPAIRED&isSearchRequest=true&makeModelVariant1.makeId=25200&makeModelVariant1.modelId=12&pageNumber=5&scopeId=C&sfmr=false
  4. Wow looks will tidy you could eat your dinner off that engine or any part of the car by the looks of it- great work ! Are there any obsolete parts that you are short of? Any chance you can post a picture of the silver sticker on the under bonnet as I think mine is missing? Cheers.
  5. Sure get her on the road and enjoy that is plan A .
  6. Nice one didn't realise you were doing a full restore will be stunning when its done. Worth taking the bumper irons off and brackets mate to get them powder coated - also the splitter iron as they rot badly ?
  7. Keep us updated would be good to know what the issue is. Cheers.
  8. James would you mind if I ask are you the chap that had the campaign at auction recently ? Cheers.
  9. Never knew it even existed, can see it was only available in Germany in 1993 and the colour was LC4U violet pearl.
  10. Is it possible that your guides are not square ?
  11. I would be as well because elring and Victor have the best reputation, I would ping a few pics over to Vince mate and see what he says . Does it have the vag equivalent part number on the package or do you have the elring part number can you list ? No 12 on diagram - VW classics have it but says genuine VW quality but not original so probably is a victor or elring. 021103383J 50-P-004 000 the superseded by this 021103383L - just wondering if you might have the incorrect gasket for 2.8 head or something like that (although i think they are the same) . http://www.oemepc.com/vw/part_single/catalog/vw/markt/RDW/modell/COR/year/1994/drive_standart/76/hg_ug/103/subcategory/5007/part_id/3685734/lang/e#sec_12
  12. I don't think we are to far away , one thing you see is a lot of in Corrado owners is that they come in and out of ownership, there will be a day where supply outsrips demand. However it is interesting that we will only have 5 or 6 for sale on autotrader and they have four pages full and they still sell them for a lot more money, maybe they have earlier classic car tax and mot laws which make them more desirable. At least a quater of the cars have recaro seats and the ultra violet seem pretty common. Another rare colour and with black recaro. I do see a certain seller in germany on ebay that gets hold of some of these seats and the sod sells the bases separately from the seats to maximise the value of them . https://suchen.mobile.de/fahrzeuge/details.html?id=298159519&damageUnrepaired=NO_DAMAGE_UNREPAIRED&isSearchRequest=true&makeModelVariant1.makeId=25200&makeModelVariant1.modelId=12&pageNumber=1&scopeId=C&sfmr=false&action=topInCategory&searchId=9961484a-5701-f56e-01e1-7a748f386ea5
  13. G60 16V with recaro what a motor, they are spoilt for choice. https://suchen.mobile.de/fahrzeuge/details.html?id=296666322&damageUnrepaired=NO_DAMAGE_UNREPAIRED&isSearchRequest=true&makeModelVariant1.makeId=25200&makeModelVariant1.modelId=12&pageNumber=2&scopeId=C&sfmr=false&searchId=7dd7d8f5-c909-7b4b-283a-e9746447cdd8
  14. Four pages full of corrado on the classifieds in Germany. Fair few with recaro seats and G60 oetttinger- also a rare Irish Green with Recaro. Seen a couple for less then 4000 euro with recaro seats. https://suchen.mobile.de/fahrzeuge/search.html?damageUnrepaired=NO_DAMAGE_UNREPAIRED&isSearchRequest=true&makeModelVariant1.makeId=25200&makeModelVariant1.modelId=12&pageNumber=5&scopeId=C&sfmr=false
  15. Have you still got your other JP gasket can you see if that sits correctly ? If not something may be distorted I guess.
  16. Hi James , This is the Cat made by UK EEC also a link to the O2 sensor. Worth sourcing some elring or Victor R gaskets for it. I actually purchased a down pipe from another manufacturer as well but that was a crap fit so put the original one back on as was in good condition- also took the engine exhaust manifolds off and did the gaskets and new copper bolts - all new apart from the downpipe but did have some gaskets. £64,00 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-VW-Corrado-53I-2-9-VR6-Genuine-EEC-Catalytic-Cat-Converter-/301957023141?hash=item464e0a85a5 Genuine cat is still available from classics says for G60 but on part diagram says its the correct number for a VR6 . No 8 on diagram ABV. Part No 7M0131701BX http://www.oemepc.com/vw/part_single/catalog/vw/markt/RDW/modell/COR/year/1995/drive_standart/76/hg_ug/253/subcategory/72005/part_id/3688051/lang/e#sec_8 https://www.volkswagen-classic-parts.de/en/katalysator-551e61.html In regards the Bosch O2 sensor if your thinking of changing that - part changes in relationship to chassis number, mine is a very late one and was part number 021906265E F 50-S-000 720 - different them most VR. No 11 on diagram http://www.oemepc.com/vw/part_single/catalog/vw/markt/RDW/modell/COR/year/1995/drive_standart/76/hg_ug/906/subcategory/204000/part_id/3704672/lang/e#sec_11
  17. There are some nice sport cats out there- I put a standard cat in my car last year and it was cheap, think the originals are still available but looking at 1k in them regions from memory - one I purchased was manufactured in the UK- Vince at Stealth gave it the thumbs up and was a perfect fit and reported it was good quality Can dig out the seller if you like - popped a new Bosch 02 sensor in there as well and was also a perfect fit. .
  18. Kempy Geri is breaking a 9A.
  19. Bloody hell god knows how they make a profit off that - and then there are classics selling a bit of plastic around the inner door handle for £70.00. Might be worth someone asking if they can make a 400 bhp version I would say they are a very accommodating firm- think they are based in my home city. When this crap is over I'm determined to get some Hella indicator lenses made for a reasonable cost.
  20. Looks good quality that- where did you get it from mate.
  21. Certainly good knowledge to have on how to make them with the majority of the these fuel lines been obsolete.
  22. Holly somosa, ARZ for one 46 euro and shipping. They do this when it is the last few the rip off merchants, I would still call classics and confirm if the price is correct or if sprinter sold it to them ha. https://www.arz-tuning.de/shop/en/black-frame-door-opener-inside-vw-corrado-new-model
  23. Surely that must be a print error or they are taking to a new level of rip off.
  24. That looks nice how did you pressure test them and what to ?
  25. Hi James, I have the Miltek resonated but some folks have reported knocking on the subframes but I have had no issues personally. I do like the look of Chris L exhaust. If you want none drone then you want a resonated system to be safe that has two mufflers under the car. I've always used borla for aftermarket exhausts in the past and they sell this beauty but in the States unfortunately. https://techtonicstuning.com/main/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=659
