  1. Hi Chap, Please could I ask what size tyres you have got on your Vento Cups. It does say on a tyre fitting chart that 205 is the minimum tyre width you can put on a 7.5J . I was thinking 205 16 45 ? What would other members tyre dimensions for these alloys ? Vento cups 16 7.5J Cheers.

  3. They do look tidy and USE Vag parts, the seller is in Germany and when I have watched his items before they send you a discounted offer for the part on ebay. I have also seen Corrado recaro seat looms new that they handmade but not showing on there at the moment but I'm sure they will make them up if asked.

  7. I wish a dealer would order the classic parts in from Germany as would only take a few days and more professional I. know from owning an old Mercedes that Poole is there classic dealer and were an absolute pleasure to deal with.
  8. Hi Sean, Did he get them off a group buy chap > From what I can see from old threads is the Vento ones are 7.5 J and group buys are 7J - so I think it is the 7,5 J which is the identification. Also the Vento ones seem to have not much of a centre internal dome.

  10. Yes where did you get the alloys ? The centre bore is 57.5 on a speedline vento cup so I would say yours are 100 percent correct with the stretching of the spring comment. These are the correct caps and Im going to get some made when things hopefully settle down. You after a set chap of the correct caps ? I imagine the MK3 lads would pay a bundle for these alloys if shown on the prototype ha!

  12. The best thing to do chap is put the part number on ebay or google and see what manufactures come up . I hate Topran because I had an oil cooler fail after 500 miles use and had to flush out the whole system- the internal cooler wept oil into the hoses- cured with a Hella cooler from Murrays direct on ebay . Also I see Heritage sell a JP fuel pump for a VR for £300 and something which is the incorrect bar and also more than a stock VDO pump- I don't take anything for granted they offer or say and have a few run ins and told the sales person wrong you can get it- thats is incorrect your not reading the diagram correctly etc - embarrassing to be honest. P,s the owner of VW International if you have an issue can take it personally they are only a small business.

  20. The alloys still have racing tyres on nankang. They get to see three races and changed out at £175.00 per corner.
  21. Hi guys, I was privileged to collect these last week off Andy from Classic Vento 96 team from Aylesbury. You might recognise a certain young someone on the first photo. Andy is an engineer from the race team and use to work for Gemini racing who use to mod the parts from VW Motorsport for the Vento Teams . He is going to send me an email with loads of interesting facts about the parts sourced from VW Motorsport and the racing teams and I will share on here. What I have been told there were only 20 teams and they were released 4 or 5 sets of the Vento speedline cup alloys which were a one off commision order from VW Motorsport to Speedline in Italy, this is why IMO they are the Holy Grail of Corrado alloys as they have VW motorsport history and rarity. . So with at least one third of these alloys damaged because of racing I imagine there are only an estimated 50 sets left in the world and maybe a few more as they were also on the MK3 A59 prototype(never went into production) as mentioned by Dox earlier on this thread. The Race car is still in top condition after a full restoration and now has a R32 engine and a Carbon trim - amazing ! Below pictures of car it came off and also the alloys and markings which I can vouch are the genuine article. Please note that Andy has 2.8 rebuilt engine block with aux and tuned ECU that Stealth did for sale. It also has a extremely rare Gemini head(with stamp)- its pumping out 210 BHP.
