Did the raid one have 16V red emblem by chance Dox ? Are you sure that was not an Italovanti as well ? Pictures attached below. I know the 4 spoke Italovanti you owned bloody lovely - both appeared in a VW accessories brochure mate and you could order from the dealers. These are the two Im thinking of buying either one. The one with the decal I could get someone to make me a badge for a tenner- VWMS something to them lines. Im 100 percent changing my wheel for me its the ugliest thing on the car and the main contact. Agree don't like the racing bolt type to agriculture for what is meant to be a sporty luxury coupe.

Well the new retro line they cost silly money like 4 K a set as I spoke to the UK dealer in Recaro. There is a seller on ebay from Poland who will supply and trim a set of LS that look exactly the same and reckons he can sort out the seat bases none electric - at the end of it wont be far off a set of stock Recaro seats and will be none electric- although they will be brand new and don't have to worry about the electrics failing. Also can supply heating for not much extra cost. Here is the guy in Poland and if you look through the pictures the orange ones are just like the recaro . Also might be worth asking J and M if they can possibly do an upgrade for a VR running high power output.

Mate if you click on the link it has upgraded drive axles up to a certain amount of power - has one up too 400 BHP. Will do mate, be a good guess when ready but something to look forward to with all the bad stuff going on at the moment, cant wait to put on the motor sport alloys, should not be long now in till I have the caps and the alloys delivered from the powder coaters- went for factory silver. Just need a set of of Recaro then and I will be happy I have created my ideal corrado.

Hi Chap, The ABS is still installed mate. its hiding behind the coolant bottle to the lower left, you can see the brake lines entering it. Im sure some have deleted it but I think its a MOT failure if you do that in the UK, however when a car becomes 40 years old in the UK you do not need a MOT inspection or pay tax. Most people upgrade to a MK3 Teves abs system I believe. Im sure someone on here could tell you the benefits, I'm not clued up on it.

Yep there seems to be not much difference in price for a set of caps and a set of wheels with caps. I noticed GRYP are making Sebring ones which are a lot more complex.

Got some photos off Vince, Engine out. The bores were worn and were very polished - so needed doing for sure. Also one of the alternators brackets were snapped ! Need to replace bottom and top radiator hose as that damn Topran oil cooler failure the oil has bloated them - only a year old grrrr. Crack pipe was ready to drop off. Very happy with the body work in the engine bay now its all visible with the engine removed. Only getting some parts of the engine powder coated because some parts if powder coated can come off with the heat and damage parts. Other parts will be using manifold silver spray paint. Vince will be giving me a guide to breaking in the engine - upto 2700 and certain revs - will post this when I have the details. Pictures attached.

Heee he you are talking yourself into it. The last seller got it for £6500 looking at the link Dox posted or maybe even cheaper, If I was looking at it I would be so what have you done to the car in the last couple of years, also bubbling on arches so would be having a thorough inspection there.

Sure 8k is a fair bit of money but how much would it cost to get it up to that ? Has had Stealth do the work so should be A1 engineering on it which is a huge bonus. Running similar setup to Seans by the look of the power output figures.

She was great mate compared to my normal parts go to , not sure if they use another system then Johnsons, but she was rapid and couldn't do enough to help. They also do the best rates for leasing new VW . Johnsons don't post either and like you to come in and pay/collect, also tries to slime me by not putting my discount on- will be using Listers S.Avon in the Future. Tanya was also telling me that a Corrado owner who uses them a lot went in there for some obsolete clips and her Husband(also works there) was that disgusted that an ebay user was trying to charge £50.00 that her husband did a 3d print for him- now that going the extra mile.
