Hoff, i'm thinking the terminals 30-852, also because the have that extra bit around the contacts that will probably keep the contacts tensioned better.

Anybody know where i can get some spare headlamp connector spade terminals from? I'm sure someone helped me out a couple of years back saying that they bought some off Vehicle Wiring Products but i can't find the buggers on their site. Cheers.

Allrite guys, need some help here.. Whilst changing my ign. barrel i noticed a spare black 5 pin connector near the MFA 4 pin connector. Tracing it back down to the fusebox it connects to a green 8 pin connector just below the fusebox main red wire feeds, What is it used for? The bentley says it's a 'warning light loom' Fine, but all the warning lights work, Even if i disconnect the connector. Cheers.

The g60 pistons won't contact the valves, i built a few 16v g60 engine years ago using the g60 pistons, off boost it was horrible due to the sleepy C/R. After that i got a set of 9A pistons and milled 2mm off the piston's crown and added 2 metal headgaskets, great engine with no problems running 1.3Bar boost. Rod wise i first used the original 144mm rods off the 9A, g60's 136mm versions are a bit short then bought forged h section jobbies but i never had any problems using the o/e parts.

Allrite guys, Has anyone fitted one of the nifty aluminium crank pulleys that often pop up on eBay in Germany? What are the drawbacks? If Vw designed the engines with a vibration damper it must have a purpose, no? They look smashing though, i'm not sure what to do, get 1 or not. Thoughts pleeze.

Allrite guys, Can anyone tell me if the later version pencil coils fitted on various Vw tfsi golfs will fit on a 9A 16v head? Are they just a push fit into the head or will the need fixing down somehow? Cheers.

Ok guys, Can anyone confirm that an exhaust back box off a '93 golf 3 gti 8 valve could be fitted onto a late '95 corrado 2.0 8v?? Any huge difference in pipe diameter? attachments in wrong places, wrong length etc. Any info. greatly appriciated.

Yeah, i'm in Rome and the parts situation is getting critical... haven't seen a 'raddo in my local breaker for about 6/7 years now. Lilfuzzer, i bought that vr6 steering coloum off ebay a few months back and had to get it posted to my uncle's place in Ealing, London.. god knows when i'll ever see that! Basicly i want to buy the remaing stuff youv'e got up on eBay but seeing as i'm in Italy i'm not allowed to bid, 'cos overseas postage isn't offered. I'm needing the two plastic lock covers, the 02A gearbox dust cover, 1 of the sunroof motor housings and possibily the late version wiper stalk. Let me know if you also have two unbent outer window scrapers.

I like the sound of this mod, could i inquire if there's a difference in feel between Dave's modded version compared to that god awful ARZ piece of (130Euro) garbage?? Hopefully the gearstick won't 'bottom out' and hit the bottom metal plate under the gearstick.. Worst piece of crap i've ever bought so now i'm back with the original stick. Chime in whoever has one fitted.

If these are still available i'll have one. I've already got the 2 relay version but every now and then the dipped beams don't turn on and i'm not all that impressed with the shiyte quality of the wires either.
