Ok, get Black Diamond disks and Ferrodo DS2500 pads
-
Yeah 3 along in the top row - maybe 30 or 32?
-
Could be a few things really, worth trying an ignition switch (don't actually need to fit it to test) if it's not been changed recently - ie will need doing at some point. Same goes for the ECU relay. Have you got AA cover or similar - worth calling them out for free diagnosis if you have!
-
You need the right stuff as it's a Hydraulic Synthetic oil and most places will only sell ATF fluid £4 from VW
-
Yeah - well worth changing the lugs, will fit nice and snug then and also stop the chances of a leak into the boot
-
Yep - made the same mistake a few years ago! The bolt has a little arrow on it to denote it's a reverse thread - driver side only I think
-
You'll need a new one really... they are G60 specific too although some ford use a similar flow rate one that Pitstop used to sell - you'd need to change the 4 though... G60 ones are about £90 each from VW or £55 from a Bosch dealer (plus VAT) Maybe take it to a local Bosch place first and see if they can test / fix it
-
Firstly measure resistance at the injector rail plug (injector loom side) - have a look for Rixy's recent thread which was a similar issue.
-
Well worth re-seating the Fuel pump relay is bottom right (80 or 167 if it's been replaced) Put your finger on the relay as you turn the ignition and you should feel it energise as it primes and then again as you try to start the car. If you have nothing then check the fuses. If you find a blown fuse then check the lambda wiring as it's on the same circuit. If not then look at the ignition switch.
-
The dust shield? Same as a MK2 I think - around £12 from VW.
-
Yeah, I've been trying to find info too but yeah, look at the pins - they are different and it must be for a reason!
-
Any VAG dealer or TPS - get the TT setup too, much better than the Lupo bits
-
The search is your friend here! The difference is the pins but I can't remember which should be top and which bottom...
-
Once it triggers it will stay on until the engine is restarted. Use of hard water can cause this so worth trying a new tank and change of coolant but also check the wiring to the sensor.
-
Halfords do a kit with a proper 2 part adhesive and mesh that you cut - made by Loctite I think.
-
Can't have done a bad job if it's still making 200BHP over 10 years on!
-
Top mounts - And now Wishbone bush sleeves, do i need them??

Yeah deep socket - you might find a sparkplug or lambda socket will fit. You can't use the slotted nut with this setup Do the nut up until you can just about turn the rubber mount round by hand. -

re-read Kev's post, mount first then nut... -

Hmmm - well at least you've sorted it... What HG were you using - thought it was a special one using copper spray? -
Hmmm - sounds like it's your water pump then that's faulty.... usually a easy job on a 8v but not on a G60 and the charger and bracket need to come off to get to it - worth getting the charger done at the same time.
-
VW - not a particularly expensive item!
-
You need the charger off to get at the water pump... I think you can remove the pas pump by removing the 2 brackets - there is a steel on at the side with 2 or 3 13mm hex bolts holding it on and also the alloy one underneath with 2 more bolts that bolt straight up.

Sizes available - http://www.toyo.co.uk/productdetail.php ... duct_id=18

He doesn't really give enough info - tyre size is ok but it depends on how wide the adapters are to what overall offset you end up with...
