  1. Welcome to the forum - just go to your local VW dealer for these.
  2. Lol, any company with a freeserver email address on the front page of there site is bound to be questionable... [email protected] Just sign Hazel up for some donkey porn.
  3. I think Faye bags'd the cab when we were there! Still can't believe no one has built one yet - they look awesome
  4. It was built for the museum mate but mostly canadian spec... Air bags, Knee Bars, Factory Air Con, light adjusters and washers but no ELRA. Really hope someone like VW or Porsche take them over!
  5. I don't mate but like I said it's available from Bosch in 2-3 days so not sure why they are having problems sourcing it!?! There must be a Bosch dealer in Cambridge but if you get any problems then use Colchester Fuel injection - I always use them for Bosch stuff and they always give great service.
  6. That will be number 14 Mr Toad - reversing lights and all the heated shizzle...
  7. ABS fuses and Relays are behind the glovebox
  8. In a seperate fuse holder above the main fuse box Come on Mike! - it's in the instruction manual, page 101
  9. Doh! I'm always doing that...
  10. What's actually the issue then dude?? Can VW not get them as it's not that old? Bosch list it as £7.91 per unit but you'd get it cheaper being trade and / or buying in bulk...
  11. Also make sure you have a genuine new style blue cap fitted to the expansion tank!
  12. Welcome to the forum... Pretty awful I'm afraid - 80BHP if your lucky because of the low compression, basically it will be slower that a MK2 driver and will use loads of fuel too!
  13. Welcome to the forum, you need G60 / Corrado VR6 pads basically although late MK2 or Corrado 16V ones are the same shape just thinner so they would also fit fine. http://www.vwspares.co.uk/product_info. ... cts_id=509 Halfords and VW should keep these in stock.
  14. If you want cheap god quality oil just get Quantum Synta Silver from VW - always use a genuine filter too!
  15. Good work mate - you'll be loving the drive of that when its done and most importantly won't have t worry about any drivetrain / brake stuff for a good few years afterwards!
  16. Ok, maybe worth checking the electric one is working too when you do the matrix...
  17. I remember the 'Milltek day' all too well Kev :D Cigarettes, Red Bull and Tesco sandwiches!
  18. Which water pump did you change?? It's the electric one on the VR that takes the pressure off the matrix...
  19. Anyone know a good supplier of genuine Toad alarm key Fob cases?? I need a 4 button one - used to see these at shows etc for a fiver but the only ones I can find nw are on eBay for £10-£12!
  20. Interesting to know the answer to that David as I've thought about that before - especially as more late systems seem to come up for sale etc... Could also imagine it's much easier to install the exhaust it it's on hangars already and just needs bolting up...
  21. ^ Exactly, never seen the point of these unless you have drastically changed something on the car to affect who the cooling system works... be interesting to see what Awesome think they actually achieve. The engine and in particular the fuel management is based round sensor values which change with temperature, the original system is designed to get the car warmed up as quickly as possible and then run at around 90 degrees.
  22. It's a Jetex he's having issues with... Magnex have gone bust and Supersprint no longer make Corrado exhausts...
  23. Yeah, a few of us are using the MK2 D one (or Turn2 as it used to be known) It's the same size as the 4 cyl ones but solid rubber as opposed to the oil filled originals - you will get a bit of gear box whine transmit through to the cabin with this.
  24. Suppliers..... Any Bosch service centre, GSF or VW should be able to get one in 1-3 days...
