-
15Amp - most likely a dead short... ABS is all on seperate fuses but i wonder if it's something to do with the light - have you unplugged this?
-
Yeah - no hole - just head up a bit and twist from side to side, use a glass scrapper to get the rest off being carefull on the inside becuase of the heater...

Obselete now dude but some of those hollow cable grommet things just about fit... -
Hmm - just looking ETKA there is a engine no. change on the 9A gasket and the thicker one uses 16mm bolts where the original (same as G60 one uses 14mm) - not sure why this is and the oil pump did not change as far as i can see so it should be fine...

I have an old Halfords one (very good and made by Teng) and I have been using a mates one (one of the new Halfords ones) to do up ABF head bolts and it's also seems very good and the guage is very accurate!
-
Yeah - thats a standard switch Re starter buttons - RS do a nice alloy one that fits well but you still have to use the key to releease the steering lock so fairly pointless really...
-
If it's in the middle of the actual cooler then you'll need to replace - do it asap too as it's a place where water and oil meet!

"Crap Corrados R Us" + Six-wheeled Corrado...
Supercharged replied to diamondblack's topic in General Car Chat
Hmmm... yeah the German's go in for some interesting mods on the Corrado and don't seem to like the original look like us... ...and yeah, we saw some hairy beasts out there... -
Probably is corrosion around the started connections... do you hear the soleniod click? When i doesn't start you need to look for 12V down the red/black wire to the soleniod, if you get volts then it's a starter / soleniod issue, if not then it's ignition switch / imob / wiring / battery...

Get some Savage tinting spray (don't buy Foliatec from Halfords - cack) and some thin masking tape from a model shop...
-
VW spares do them for £4.25 each but not sure if they are INA...
-
Oh, the aux water pump!
-
I wonder if the return is blocked? That also looks very close to the cat so i would be extremly careful investigating and don't drive it until you get it sorted!
-
Thermostat housing?? Have a look at the pics on the VWspares site to confirm maybe?
-
If the struts have been off (which they will have) then you will need to get the geometry set up...
-
Dealers keep it instock - just standard vac pipe sold by the metre
-
Sounds like the squarer mk3 one - good old ebay!
-
288's fit straight onto a VR6 but you will need the late MK3 VR6 front hoses with the banjo connection and the mk4 banjo bolts..
-
Accident damage VR6 - is it a write-off?
Supercharged replied to Skimask's topic in General Car Chat
Nah - that'll be ok, even a good insurance job using new panels will be £1000-£1200 -
Haha - I remember what your on about...
-
Yeah, Pas bracket down but you shouldn't need to remove the pump, just swing it out the way... You need stat, plastic housing, new bolts and O ring seal + some new coolant.

Hi there - best thing to do is to buy the plug and some repair wires from VW, cut it back and re-solder with at least a double insulating of heatshrink, also make sure the earth on the probe side of the wiring is good!
