  1. For £40 i'd replace it if thats what they said - the CO pot is a very important part of the engine management system on a G60 and will affect fueling...
  2. I bought most of the above new last year - GPC is the best place to try, cheaper than dealer trade prices and they have stock so may have items in stock that are now obselete...
  3. May be a problem with the pedal position sensor (located under the MC on the servo) or the ABS ECU - had any water leaks recently or new screen fitted?? Check the wiring, especially the ECU plug for corrosion (located in passenger footwell) - spray with wd40 and plug back in... If nothing obvious then you really need to get it on VAGCOM...
  4. just_say_meth, Welcome to the forum... Heated cloth was never an option but you could get electric (adjustable) recaro cloth in any model - that maybe where the confusion came from...
  5. What engine??? Ball park for a garage to do a standard 8v engine is £300-£350 inc parts, the G60 headset costs a bit more than standard so maybe add £30-£50...
  6. Thats funny - I thought I saw a parcel force van running a single RH earlier...
  7. Is your car chipped? What is the battery voltage? Did you clear the DTC's and re-scan?
  8. Dude - get a baffeled sump gasket / windage tray of a mk3 Golf diesel - good upgrade over the standard one for a G60.
  9. Rpmayne, just go to VW and buy a selection... Althoug Corrado interior plastics aren't as good as most other VW's they shouldn't rattle, this is mostly caused by windscreen and alarm fitters not replacing broken clips etc... Use a dab of black silicon sealant on the self tappers to stop them rattleing loose, make sure all looms are taped down as they should be and replace any missing felt...
  10. Yeah - the 25% off deal they were doing on BBS's last year was unbeatable but they don't seem to stock BBS any more...
  11. Try a company called APC - they seem to be cheapest for heavy parts...
  12. No VW (of that Era) did for that matter....
  13. Steve, from what I can see on ETKA it should be ok - I think I got it wrong and all MH codes use the 190mm but there are 2 kits and the earlier one is obselete with no replacement which indicates there is something different about it... without knowing which one yours matches up to I think you'll just have to try it... Yeah, release bearing should be in the kit but VW specify changing the sleeve as well - I would for £3
  14. Steve, just been looking on ETKA - that engine uses a 180mm clutch but then changes to a 190mm depending on chassis number.... Also being a polo you want to get the release bearing guide sleeve that you don't get in the kit - £3 from VAG
  15. VR6 Russ, fair enough but take the parcel shelf and supports out before you drop the car off, will make it easier for them and save you labour too...
  16. Kick Up The R's, yes - the later VR's were very high compared to previous models...
  17. Mike - it's not - you just get a holding page not the actual site...
  18. That will be 92/93 if on a K plate unless it's an L reg car on a private reg? You need the later style fog lights which also comes with the plastic surround (chassis code N onwards) which have a part number ending in B
  19. RRP is £86 inc vat, the one for the bottom of the door is £48 as opossed to £20 for the standard one...
  20. To be honest guys I don't think the above will be necessary - it shouldn't be too tight... Daves16v does a stainless replacement and coat it in white grease this time...
  21. PlusGas and a standard 6 sided socket should do it... Replace with a stainless bolt
