Stealth have a press for the bearings (they would need the hubs off tho..) Tyres - it does help if they are good and if you need some anyways then i'd get beforehand... You may also want to buy new bolts for the wishbones and ball joints... My TDI feels fantastic since being alligned on the Biessbarth!
-
Eh? - they just drop in no probs - use a socket if necessary... It's the fronts into the hubs that need a press...
-
Most likely a heat sheild... Have a look under the car as someone rev's it - probably the one on the bottom of the cat... large jubilee is the fix!
-
LOL!
-
On the G60 there is a 13mm tensioning bolt on the bracket...
-
And they do painting... looks like Dinkus's sort of car too

I think we should all get them and rename this forum...

I think it's the same tool as the 8v's - if so then GSF sell these for bout a fiver...
-
Thats about right for dealer prices but yeah, get it done elsewhere! Worth getting the rear discs and pads changing at the same time if they are worn...
-
Guy's I don't think the price above included those jobs - that was just for the service, those job are going to cost about a grand at garage prices!
-
Yeah you need to hit the red! 6200rpm... 2000 is what your looking for, maybe more depending on the quality of the rebuild...
-
It's not bad at all but I'd maybe expect a bit more from an R1 stage charger... I think mine was making similar figures before the charger was rebuilt on the standard pulley... when was yours last rebuilt?
-
If it's off a 5 stud Golf (GTi or VR6) then it should be the same as a C VR6...
-
Not on a Corradol, it's hydraulic...

Most likely a broken wire, may just need re-terminating with a female spade...
-
Correct, plus longer bolts of course...
-
Not standard on a Corrado, especially with an offset of 25!
-
I see he's gone for the invisible wiper blade mod!

woodmanr, Welcome to the forum... It may just be down to the paintjob not being that great... but obviously may be due to a very hot climate? also the G60's run fairly hot, is the bonnet sound proofing foam still in place? - this may not make a difference but thought it was worth asking...
-
Just to answer the first post, you're correct, you don't have to have one, in fact some new cars now don't come with a spare - just a can of trye weld stuff...
-
Halfords or any motor factors - either called Silicon spray or Belt Dressing...

Your also aware that you shouldn't go above 50 with a SS I hope?
