  1. I think you have to subsribe for these dude...
  2. Yeah - it is cheaper but only just...
  3. Yeah - heard that on the news this morning, very unfortunate but you've got to ask what were cyclists doing out if the roads were that bad...
  4. It may just be the sachs clutch to be honest, Stealth had no end of problems with them and some people had 2 or 3 new ones under warranty, they now only use the genuine clutch which is a mix of Sachs and LuK parts which are alot better than the bits that come in the pattern kits...
  5. I think Stevemac had a major issue with them and they are no longer the CCGB recomended insurers!
  6. Yep, demon tweeks seem to be the cheapest supplier of this...
  7. Thats from ETKA, the VW parts system... Search for the Bentley manual on http://www.amazon.ca - it's US so only covers the G60 and 2.8 VR6 but it's the only real Corrado manual out there....

Looking good - looks like it all worked out in the end!!
  9. Yeah, I think it roughly equates as 10 hours labour and £250's worth of parts...
  10. Yeah, makes sense that it could be the actuator then... I reckon VAGCOM would log a fault but it would just be something similar to 'Idle adaption limit reached' and not actually tell you what the problem is unless something is actually broken or not functioning... Maybe locate the actuator and give it a clean... maybe just sticking on startup - i assume it idles ok and doesn't cut out Walesy?
  11. Eh - who said they we're poo...!?! They will say Corrado VR6 on them if so - they maybe the huge ones for the 288mm discs (part number FR-1101 I think...)
  12. Dunno - why would they change between LHD and RHD?
  13. Yeah, it's more likely the pads as I've heard people say the discs are ok... I'd be tempted to try the Pagid fast roads... we all agree they are good!
  14. If it has one Walesy... you need to read the haynes...
  15. You want to use the finer 'wet and dry' variety but be carefull to sand only the scratce, not the whole area....
  16. LOL! I drove a mk2 GTi once with the above combination fitted and they were the worst brakes i've ever experienced on any VW...
  17. Depending how big it is... sand it down and use a touch - up pen (£2 Halfords mixed) or if it's got bad just hamerite it to stop it getting any further...
  18. Hmmm - maybe your auto choke is knackered then Wales and it isn't your big-end after all!
  19. Shouldn't matter unless the pads were not warn evenly... If you've wound the piston out fully then there should be loads of room if the pads weren't new? Check the operation of the handbrake mech and spray WD40 on the spring, if your still not getting anywhere then disconect the cable, that will tell you if its the handbrake or not...
  20. And does it come back on again once you turn it on?
