Should be a rather large one if you have the intermittent feature (which all RHD G60's did)

RM splitrims... Generally... 200 for ones needing refurb 300 for a set in good condition 500 for a set thats been refubed Obviously a bit more if tyres are included....

Hard to say as it depends on the condition (getting the old ones out is usually the problem) On a VR you will almost certainly have to have the rear brake bias valve cut off and replaced... (£75) Maybe 3-5 hous labour...

Does everything else open? If so then it's a problem with the actuator or a split pipe etc (not electrical)

Do they have the same connectors on each end? - They should do the the early calipers you are describing... (at least the early G60 ones are like this)

What! - well I wouldn't spend any more money replacing bit until you've had the fault codes read... VW will often do this to diagnose a problem for free, then it's up to you if you get the work done there or not...

Hi Bill - is there much wiring involved, ie do you have to run a switched live from the front of the car and also mount a speaker?

The TB had most likely never been cleaned, I wouldn't worry about it... I've looked at 2 mk3 Golfs recently and altho they were running ok, the TB needed a good clean, both were around 80k's... ISV - I think they are usually about £100
