-
F$£k the engine... I wanna see pics of Tom's sister!
-
Is that when the springs wear out Steve?? thats what happened to one of mine on the TDI, looking at them off the car they both look fine but the older one just couldn't keep tension and kept making the caliper bind...
-
Darren proably did the one to the ECU - there is a more solid pipe that goes to the clocks, it's probably come off behind the clocks...
-
Still got it... it was Kev that sold his.. If I renew the registration then she said i'd keep the unit! That oil you sold me earlier says 09/05 on it - trying to shift out of date stock are ya? eh?
-
..and it was a pile of shit and looked like a corsa... ...did drive well tho when it worked! Neil - some woman from blackspot just rang me and offered me the new satnav roadangel for £299 - that a good price??

-
Did you change the transmission mount also?? - I suspect that may have gone with the other mounts being replaced for newer stiffer ones...
-
I think the electric window control unit is behing there... strange!
-
Yeah, cheers guys... I did ive it a wax before and I will inspect it after a couple of weeks to see whats happening under there... RW1 - yeah, it has straps but I didn't think i'd need them - you may have a point tho as it can get quite windy! - good tip about the bin bags too
-
Use Safe-cut - yellow bottle from Halfords, that will remove the other cars paint and cut your slightly then you'll be able to tell the real damage... may come up fine with a couple of light scratches - hardly worth bothering with unless you were thinking of getting a front end respray done for stonechips etc...

Supercharged replied to TREVR6's topic in Suppliers Forum
I bought mine off a mate who got it at a show - I'll have a look at it and tell you where it's from, IIRC it's from a german tuning shop... -
I just see a thin bloke struggling to stand up straight...

I got one of these for a G60 I'll be hoping to try out next year... -
Just put my G60 into hybernation and thought I'd put some pics up as altho there has been a lot of talk about these, I'd not seen a pic of one on a Corrado... This is the medium size one (for MK5 golf etc) from Halfords, currently £39.99 (normal price £65) Yes - I know it looks like a Focus....
-
Does the door open from the inside if you pull the knob up?? Same thing also happened to me last sat altho I suspect a car hit it as the mirror was smashed as well as it was knocked clean off its base... c*nts!!
-
Halfords, GSF and VAG do them... I get mine from VAG - about a tenner each inc vat.

I think you can only connect the fan one way round so the polarity can't be wrong... I reckon it's just a corradoincedence... check the wires to the rad fan thermoswitch, when these fail they usually seem to stop working at stage 1 and only switch the fan on at the higher temp, allowing the water to go above 100 to 110 in traffic (which it shouldn't) Sometimes when you run the car up to temp it will turn the fan once when it gets to stage 1 but not keep it running and the engine will continue to stage 2 before it runs...
-
Check your fuses and battery connections!
-
Yeah, I've got a Milltek and it was getting thru 3 exhaust rubbers in as many months - now using poly ones so hopefully will hold it a bit more steady... It maybe easier for you just to get a new cat bypass pipe tho for the sake of £50-£70
