I take it you were using the Passat mechs as wwell as the handles (middle part number should be 839 NOT 837 on both handles and mechs) -
Sounds like you got the wrong pads - probably ones for an abs car, you could sand them down a bit...

Just go to the VW dealer!! - There only a couple of quid! You will need to go to the dealer to get the dizzy cap anyway if needed as they are the only ones who will sell you the correct part as there are 3 posible types to fit the G60

I think GSF sell a complete lock set for a mk2 for about £45... I would have thought that would be the same for the corrado...

You can also get rubbers re-enforced with metal chains from Ford dealers, also C&R sell them...

They keep some colours in stock but others they'll have to order, some are obselete but you can just get halfords to mix you up a pot. Try VW first tho - better quality paint and match

It depends on who you use, Elephant just aked me if I had an alarm which I replied a Clifford, I said I hadn't got any documentation but it works fine and they were ok with that.

Not really, there is alot you need to do to convert a 16V to a G60 or VR6, new fuel pump, brakes, ECU etc - you would really need a donor car for parts... If I were you, I'd ring Stealth Racing and see if they have any 9A engines kicking about...

Yep, I had the same problem, G60 sensor was £12+vat an fairly easy to get to and change... It's just on top of the gearbox... You may want to check the wiring to it before hand as well...
