Thats because when they are new you have to 'tap' them onto the spindle as you tighten then up.... ie they come blank

Should be ontop of the gearbox towards the back if you have a digital odometre - awkward but you should just about be able to reach it...

Yep, thats what I've just got, If you want the pagid fast roads, use the ones listed for the Corrado without ABS (same thickness as the late mk3's)

I think the corrado uses the MK2 Item, I think the mk3 is different (plug at least) but I may be worng...

Get the FEBI ones GSF sell, they are solid rubber and won't disintegrate like the foam VW ones. ...or, If you don't fancy taking the shocks off etc, FK do some that come as seperate rings you can just push on between the spring coils...

Yep, all Mk3's are the same, just remove the blanking plate next to the ashtray. -

If its the front VW one then its the same as a Mk2 but there is an extra plastic ring between the badge and the grill.... The VR6 badge is smaller than the mk3 one...

Yeah, I've got a G5 one but my old Matrix is not compatible, PM me if you want to buy it... I take it you have a working one somewhere as you will need it to program the new one?

Mate you need the right equipement to sort this out, I doubt you've broken anything as its all new, I'd take it back to the bodyshop who just repaired it and get them to sort it, when they re-alligned the car they probably didn't tighten something up enough, I'd get it back to then asap!
