  2. Third time i've phoned and nobody is picking up the phone :(
  3. I saw your car at the Cat n Fiddle the other week and the paintwork is amazing. I am very jealous
  4. Blue K reg VR this morning at QMC roundabout in Nottingham. Had clear rear lights and you looked like you were in a rush :)
  5. Red one, looked lowered and had a private plate A700 XXX i think. You would have noticed me checking out your car on the A52 heading south/east out of Nottingham this morning at about 8 ish.
  6. I used the savage stuff as well and a clear laquer over the top.
  7. Only if you like swimming in bird crap! I planned to clean it but decided against it since the feathered blimps were hanging about again :(
  8. You learn something new every day :D
  9. Isn't there a way of scrambling these guns? If only to annoy the do-gooders?
  10. It depends how carefully you took the last one off, the holes might be too big now so you may need some washers. The bolts also need to be really tight to pull it into the right position or it looks wrong. HTH
  11. God bless the forum.. and GSF :D It's definitely much better now and my local shell garage finally got some V-power so all is good. For now anyway :)
  12. Blue storm N*AMA? jacket hanging up in the passenger seat. Turning off the A52 towards Beeston about 8 this morning. Seen you a few times
  13. It ran well today in the drizzle so fingers still crossed that it is fixed.
  14. I need some help guys, my car appears to have developed a problem. Coming to towards the end of an 80 mile or so journey, the car started to feel sluggish. It felt like i'd set off in 2nd or 3rd gear a couple of times (i hadn't) and when i finally got to 50-60mph it became juddery and unable to maintain a constant speed. When i finally got to Jon's house, there was a slight burning smell and apparently the exhaust sounded louder than usual  It was raining heavily for the whole journey and after a bit of searching it appears that this is not uncommon however i find it really concerning. The sound (but not the display) disappeared from my stereo half way through the journey as well but it probably isn't related. Am i right in checking HT leads and coil pack and what am i looking for? Any help would be massively appreciated, Thanks Kate
  15. I live in Stapleford but i was at ultimate dubs.
  16. Stick a fresh vanilla pod in the heater vents. Lovely :)
  17. Hello Carl, I don't think anybody really believes they are buying perfection when they buy a corrado, however i really could have done without the problems when i needed to get to Bacup every day :bad-words: But it happened quite suddenly so there was no way you would have known it was going to happen. At least getting the chains done is out of the way now so i can relax a bit. The brakes are all sorted now too, i was so pleased with that being the only thing on the MOT, its such a change after the last car! I hate to break this to you but i really can't see me ever selling up. I window shop when other cars go by but nothing else interests me enough. Anyway, how's it going over there? This job certainly has its good and bad points, quite stressful at the moment but at least the drive home keeps me happy. And i really do need some photos of the car, i shall pull my finger out and get it sorted :salute:
  18. I'd never even considered this as an option before, thanks for the write-up. Definitely worth considering if the winters are going to be as cold as this one.
  19. I love using mine every day, whatever the weather :) I'm not happy about all the crap (literally) that it gets covered in but it just makes it look better once its been washed. I've got a bike i plan on using more for work to save some cash but i can usually find some excuse not to :norty: As for a pet name i call mine VV (Violet VR), original i know!
  20. If there was ever a time for a Harry Hill stylee 'FIGHT!' this is it. We should get one of each and roll them to find out, however i heard that the mk3 5 door was stiffer than the 3 door mk3 but i can't comment for the mk2's.
  21. Mmmmmm! tiger bread :D Had 4 with edam and finest english butter yesterday :norty:
