  1. Sell his vital organs, they are clearly wasted on him.. a calibra???
  2. Jealous! I want heated seats! Took you long enough to do it though :D
  3. Anyone else feeling the need to emigrate after this?
  4. Like you'd let Izzy drive your car.. but you let her drive mine :D Good work! When you starting on mine?
  5. Its been like that on both i've had
  6. The rears are 4 years old, one on the front is 7 years old  and the other appears to have no date even though it is the same as the other one  I'm not that worried about it though since we generally use softer tyres in the UK and are used to changing them regularly although i admit i'll probably change the front ones sooner rather than later after seeing that.
  7. Got mine off ebay not this seller but the same thing. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Chrome-Inner-Door ... 286.c0.m14 The door cards have to come off, slide off the old one, pull out the old plastice bit and swap it for nice new chrome one then put it all back. Mine didn't sit flush at first so i filed a bit of the plastic away in a couple of places and it looks ok now with the nice chrome golf ball gear knob in there as well :D
  8. Lucky git :) Nice find!
  9. I fitted those on saturday and realised they slide off :D after ages yanking on them. Looks loads better now.
  10. Blue K reg with a debadged grille (very clean!) in Ashton-u-Lyne mid morning. You might have just caught a glimpse of me waving at you in my dirty car which i have now washed and polished ready for Tatton Park.
  11. I really wanted one of these before i bought the VR but there's hardly any manuals about :( the insurance (on the v8) was cheaper than the VR  Looks nice but iif it starts costing £££££££££££ the novelty will quickly wear off.
  12. Saw your new car parked up in Nottingham last week (Jon mentioned it in the spotted thread) looked nice and i love the colour :luvlove: I'll keep an eye out for you when i move.
  13. I was there and piece of cake it was not! Use a washing up bowl to catch the coolant.
  14. You need some of this.. http://www.americansweets.co.uk/aunt-jemima-20-c.asp my friends dad used to bring it back from America but you can get it in Selfridges now as well (pay a premium for it though) It makes THE best pancakes ever!
  15. Just read some of your previous posts, now i know just how well its been looked after.. and why Carl would have given up vital organs to take it with him :) Those RH AG Cups looked really REALLY good! but i'm determined to keep it standard looking. I might get some new number plates though since it is still sporting the John Fox Nottingham ones on it when you had it (now cracked  ) although i suppose i should keep them since i'm having to move to Nottingham at the end of august. Who knows, you might see us whizzing about!
  16. It started out as a simple job swapping the radiator neck/connecting piece for one which wasn't cracked. 10 minutes i thought as i skipped away from my local friendly stealer  However, being a Corrado things were never going to be that easy were they? Why oh why did VW not spend a few pence more on some stainless steel screws? Result:- whole new radiator which i suppose needed changing anyway discovery of broken headlight and grille clips (surprise surprise  ) lots of rust treatment and hammerite At least its done now and i can give it a good polish and show off the nicely repaired dents in the doors :D
  17. Blue Storm in Smith Knight Fay in Hyde earlier today standing out nicely from the silver euroboxes.
  18. Really clean and shiney dark green N reg this morning on the A6 Dove Holes/Chapel-en-le-frith.. looked stunning :salute:

  21. Sorted with a drill and a cable tie :D Don't you just love that sense of achievement when you fix something and you know you have saved yourself an uneccessary financial mauling by going to a garage
