I think the original unsplit RS's suit the immaculate finish of this car perfectly. It doesnt matter how many cars wear RS's its about the total package and this is it. It was a tough decision to sell the RS's as these dont come around very often like this but they have gone to a great home.

Great engine, Recaro's, BBS wheels and the bbs steering wheel this is going to be a top car when your finished James.
-
Not sure, I'm away from work till Thursday so hoping they will be waiting for me on my return!
-
Can I take you up on the offer of trying the fan brackets please, that way I can check this beastie out! Definitely have to take me for a drive in this.
-
Hi Chaps, Thats the drawings sent for laser profiling so the sample set will hopefully be done next week. Once I know they are all correct and fit as they should I will be good for getting more done. The brackets getting done at the moment are for an 11" and 9" fan so hopefully this will suit everyone, I guess it wouldnt take much effort to change the fan sizes if required as long as they fit the radiator!! Maybe if someone wants to start a list of those interested in a set?

Well hopefully I can get it to be a 'super class winning show car' but thats a while away yet. No we didnt have any rain last night and it certainly wont be going out in any.
-
Really surprised to see you car for sale Darren! I never suspected you would want to sell up, what are you honking of getting?
-
Go into the members gallery and Jim has a thread near the top.
-
I've got them drawn on the spal fans but these mount the same as the ones in swiftkids link.

Looking at the records and paper work, he was a corrado genius! he also photographed everything and kept detailed records of things he'd done.
-
Good purchase, I did see that one in the for sale section, I bet you cant wait to get it. Hope you keep it standard.

First outing tonight to a local classic car meet, took a few pictures of the storm And one with my mates capri in the background
-
Hopefully get the first ones made early next week!

Thanks everyone, it wasn't for sale but I was persistant and it paid off!! The tricky thing is what to do with the underneath, the car is unbelievably clean and I dont want to take away the originality of the car. I'm going to have a good think before winter and decide the best way forward.

I wasn't sure whether to do a thread on my new Corrado as I guess I won't be doing much especially in the way of modifications, in fact I wont be doing any modifications to it! Well its a 1995 Corrado VR6 Storm in Classic Green (the car that got me hooked on Corrado's some 19 years ago now after seeing a friends neighbours brand new green storm back in 1995), the car is well known to many but dont think there has ever been a thread on it previously. The car is completely standard in every way and is a credit to its long term owner the late Chris Gaskell and having only covered 46K miles it looks like it was only driven from the showroom yesterday. To say I like the car is an understatement, it has service history and general history in ways I have never seen with a car before. Chris recorded every journey he made in the car from getting it in 1996 along with every fuel fill up and any fault he had along with the repair. I also amongst other stuff have all the 'Tech-know file' letters and write ups he did for the sprinter magazines, he was a true enthusiast. Anyway some pictures: Hope you all like it!

Thats odd then Matt, unless its the later VR's when they put it on the other side? It seems a pointless thing though. You can see the new one fitted to the blackberry one:
-
Lol! lets talk about those RS's mmmmmmm!!!
-
Not just any 'wheel update' that is it!! I like the Nothelles but the RS's on your car are just complete perfection, it doesn't get any better.
-
Bumper irons are a fiddle but they do pull off. The rear steel bit around the towing eye are available from classic parts but mine took about 5 weeks to come! There is only one on the towing eye side though.
-
I thought they would suit the Blackberry colour Steve and they certainly do, car looks great. Glad you didnt have to sell it in the end.
-
My dad restored a TR6 when I was young and sprayed it the same blues as that, they are a really nice looking car.
-
You aren't going to sort that with a touch up pen and machine polisher! Will try and pop round to see it soon.
