Cheers, I couldn't see a tab and it looks like the metal bars are fixed to the seat and the headrest moves up and down the bars!
-
Cheers Sean, Which plastic tabs please? On the seat or the headrest?
-
Does anyone know how to remove the headrests from standard VR leather seats please?

Group Buy Feeler: Reproduction VR6 Silver Grille Badges (Update P3)
ChrisL replied to Jim's topic in Group Buy Feelers
Jim, I have been looking into getting the rear badges re-foiled in the original finish and have a few contacts regarding the material and actual foiling. Work commitments have slowed me down but I think I have someone who could potentially match the original brushed finish and I have someone who will do a 'test' foil for me. The issue with the rear badges is that they are slightly rounded which would have been foiled by a rubber moulding, the front badges are flat which should make it easily possible. The test foil on a badge will be about £7 so maybe if you can get the badges made, I can pass on my findings and contacts for the foiling??? -
Oooooof! Nice Box!!!
-
Do you want to sell it?????
-
You must be well chuffed with that paint finish, the dark blue really looks good on a corrado.
-
Wish I'd have bought one of the new ones from the group buy last year.
-
Car is looking great Sean, really impressed with the difference from when you first got it! Did you ever establish if it is a storm or not? Are you putting storm badges and colour coded grille on? Can't believe you've bought another, how come???
-
It's got the look of mystic blue. Weather is supposed to be dry up our way tomorrow.
-
Nice paint!! Does the paint have a purple flip or is it the flash?
-
Looks fantastic under there Michael, I wouldnt do anything else with that centre tunnel shield.
-
Nice one thanks. how's it lasting?
-
Cheers, are the calipers painted or have they been zinc plated please? who renovated them please?

Chris Langdon's Moonlight Blue VR6 thread!!!

Hi Chris, is the corrado looking as good as ever? still got the mk1?? -
Are those new genuine brake calipers? Lotus is awesome, love the look of them.
-
Mirrors are what you need now michael so everyone gets to enjoy your hard work. Shields look spot on and you'll have a perfect supersprint with a stainless centre pipe. The one part that lets them down.
-
Think the us rear number plate holder is available from classic parts in Germany.

*RARE* NEW VW Corrado Storm VR6 Solitude Alloy Wheels *Genuine VW BNIB*
ChrisL replied to ChrisL's topic in Ebay and Misc
I did drop him a line to say they were still available but he said he will leave it live and hope someone from the US will buy them! -
I think its great that they chose the Corrado and hopefully they only have good things to say about it. Will hopefully get more people wanting a Corrado!

As far as I remember the air guides fit to the back of the radiator (engine side) where the old fan shroud fits to the radiator, this is where the spacers fit.
-
Glad your happy with them James. Where one of the brackets fits over the 2 plastic lugs on the radiator, the 2 collars clamp the bracket when you fix the air guide.
-
Should have 6 more sets of these brackets ready this week!
