  1. Thats the plan... Ive seen a couple and have liked, i think the trick is not to overdo it, just the dash shell..
  2. Not that many for me really. 1986 Ford Fiesta in Rosso Red 1.1 (XR2 lookalike) 1993 Ford Fiesta in Blue 1.1 - the older one was loads better. 1999 Ford Escort 1.6 16v in black - loved having the electrics etc for the first time and i thought it was massive at 90 bhp.. 2002 Seat Leon TDI SE in blue - brilliant car, id have another straightaway. 1995 Corrado 16v in Aqua 1995 Corrado Storm in Green 1989 Golf GTI 16v in Oak Green 1992 Corrado 16v in Red (well half owner)
  3. Thanks very much, its just the winter roads really do the car no favours, its for the best, i am missing it though.. Its not top secret, i have toyed with the idea of TT, Mk4 etc etc but i dont think itll be right for mine, plan is for a little visit to MJ for a dash trim..

    Mats

Justmatz do boot mats aswell, give them a ring, really helpfull guys when i sorted my ones out..
  5. Pictures Villiam.. :) Few problems along the way but its still a bloody nice car..
  6. Agreeing with Tony here, the cloth ones that are up for sale are for the seats only and you have the entire cream interior, worth remembering that beige parcel shelves are a worth a bomb as they arent exactly common.. I wouldnt like to put a price on the interior but 400 is way too low...
  7. Cheers Andy, i would have loved to have brought it up to Stealth, its never been on the rollers since the engine mods went in.. I never mentioned Recaros guys... :) To be fair i do want some and when the time comes it will be a retrimmed set to match the rear bench. Interior plan for next year involves the dashboard, ive got a guideline price, target time is june... Id really like to have the car with wheels and dash sorted for BVF/E38 next year, obviously subject to what hapenning with work at the time.. Oh and i think you should get a Mk2, i think everyone should have one, such great fun..

Soory ive not got back to you Jon, i cant remember which style i went for, i think it was the middle one and they were about 70 quid.. Liking your design, id agree with the blue trim suggestion.
  9. Best carpet cleaner ive used is Meguires All purpose cleaner, really handy stuff as it can be used for anything really, wheels, engine bay and carpets. When i did mine it brought it up a treat...
  10. My Dad actually doesnt like my Corrado to drive but thinks the Mk2 is great, shows what parents know... :)
  11. I hope you get this sorted mate or i reckon you might have to make a trip to the trimmers, via the bank.. Not good at all...
  12. I used to use the Autoglym stuff and then tried the gliptone and it is loads better, the conditioner smells of leather whereas the AG stuff doesnt smell to crash hot.. I definitely recommend it..
  13. Just over 2 years for the Storm and just shy of a year before that with a 16v..

    Blue G60

Looks like a good one, shame soneone has nabbed the seats.. Engine bay looks really good, whats been used to paint the charger etc?
  15. And another one Gav, alomst into double figures.. Pics of the bonnet and slam panel will be hapenning on Saturday..
  16. Ive never heard that before. TBH no one is permitted to sit in the back of mine so its not an issue..
  17. I take it that you know they look excellent and will look better when its lower..
  18. Its not an engine bay mod, those plans are on hold for a little while... Im talking about wheels and an interior mod... Hope to have it sorted by june or July depending on whats hapenning with work..
  19. Well the car has had its last run of the year yesterday, not planning on putting it back on the road until about April as i want to keep the car off the salty roads and have got loads of jobs i want to do, i wrote them all out today and its nearly sides of A4. There are no drastic changes planned at the moment but mainly painting jobs, engine bay details, new rear calipers, bushes etc etc. The first major change to the car will be coming next year... :) Heres a couple of recently taken piccies...
  20. Ive just drawn up te list for my winter jobs as well, best of luck getting through them.. The mirrors should indeed be heated and should come on when you switch on the rear heated window..
  21. Go to a body shop painting place and they will have the proper adhesive strips in varying thicknesses, some of them are very thin so it wont make your badges stick out. The main problem you are going to have is getting them so sit in the right place, best bet is gonna be get another Corrado and take some measurements to make sure it all lines up.... Badge will be on its way in the next couple..

    Front splitter

The bottom splitter can indeed be changed on its own.. The age of your car will determine which one you need, there are 50mm and 90mm versions, the small one is about 50 quid and the big one about 95 quid new, just buy second hand is my advice...
  23. Personally i hope the released version doesnt look like that and isnt available in that colour, not a fan at all.. For the collectors i guess its a 'this is what you could have won'...
  24. No originatlity prizes for me - BBS RS301s, for me they are the absolute business and i will be buying a set next year..
