  1. I have copied this from another site as it is put very well. It would be nice to have this stuff in the wiki on here in the g60 section..if it is not already You just want the ignition timing section. if you don't have a timing light you will have to take it to someone who does. Also make sure that the knock sensor is torqued up properly and that it is connected thru to the ecu. hth
  2. have u had the car long? Do you know its history?
  3. yeah, but the thing with horses is they have no cigarette lighter socket not not sure how u'd power it.
  4. cool. :) I'll send you the gtech back if you like.
  5. i'd also loose the time frame tbh. It will be finished when it is finished. If it is finished next week, great more prower to you.HoweverI wouldn't let the timeframe control your thinking. Things will come up that you didn't plan for. Sounds like you have enough cars to get you from A to B without the raddo anyway. 8)
  6. i did the same thing. They do seem a bit fragile.
  7. then it is either the signal wire to the guage or the guage itself. You fuel guage is working ok i take it?
  8. u feel threatend by irwins don't u?!?? make u feel less of a man? :camp:
  9. ok,do the simple stuff first. reach under the car after it has run up to temp and check that the bottom hose is geting warm as above. even an accountant can manage that i bet. :) Thermostat is a lot cheaper than a headgasket change. :salute:
  10. under 12 volts is considered flat for a car battery.
  11. lol lucky your not a paramedic. "Kiss of life? nah.. We'll do it after lunch." Do don't want to leave a battery deeply discharged like that.
  12. hopefuly all the electronics are just upset with the fact that no juice is coming from the battery. 7 volts is flucked. even 11 volts from a battery is bad. Have you tried to put a charge into it yet?
  13. Check that the brown earth cable on the black sensor is not broken Quickest way is to use a multimeter to check that you have continuity between the negative bat terminal and the negative pin on the sender harness. I have also had a burnt out coolant guage b4 but this isn't very common. Not heard of anyone else have that prob.
  14. disappointing. you didn't fall off once. Impressive stuff mate. How old is he?
  15. Nice move. You can give the Hoff his wheels back now. Looks nice and poised. 8)
  16. there are four models of corrado. All with very different systems. What car do u drive???
  17. yeah later ones like mine have ABS. Car looks nice, although I would say that because it looks like mine. 8)
  18. loving the Mustang style stripe on the helmet too. :D
  19. u always did like an agricultural ride hight. :) congrats mate.
  20. And big massive Yep on that I really have to agree with that too. I ended up losing the whole car because I started something before having at least 95% of all the parts I'd need. To be fair, you just need to knuckle down to it. Any project will get you down at some point. I've got a mate who has been trying to get his 16vT built and running with MS for over a year now. He's got the patience of a saint, but it's really trying that saintly patience at the mo. Stick with it, and don't give up, as you'll only regret it (and that applies to my mate too! ;) ) and u.
