  1. Hi, just on top of the oil cooler, oil pressure senders are found. However, I can see 3 wires but only 2 of them are connected. Is the third one like some kind of pre installation or wiring for the cubbyhole oem gauges? if so, does anyone know where can I find the other end of this wire (or if it's near the fusebox, etc..)?? thanks :notworthy:
  2. hi there, I've just fitted a passat (same as mk3) climatronic into my corrado but I'm still left a couple of bits to get. There is a coolant pipe plugged in the heater matrix with a temperature sender. Well then, this pipe is like two pipes joint together by some kind of plastic pipe that allocates a sender in it. What I would like to know is the part number for the small plastic housing and the sender... can any1 help me please? I don't have etka, and I'm running windows 7 64bit with rare screen resolution so there's no way I can ever get it running :( thanks!!!
  3. 9a has a microswitch for full load, whereas kr one doesn't have it
  4. despite uk early style corrados with aircon have a switch for this, I think it would be useful if I posted the way a.c. is triggered in slider controls controlled ( ) a.c. the slider controls have a plug for the fan speed selector, and another plug for the a.c., fan, and ignition +12v (it's got 3 wires).
  5. hi, thanks for your replies. I've done a 60mile drive this afternoon and it's not flashed again despite being stuck in traffic, etc.. I pinched by hand the lower radiator hose and I've heard something like bubbles going to the expansion tank. thanks
  6. Hi there, i recently filled the expansion bottle with TOO MUCH juice. Today, the coolant light started flashing very quickly (not the usual flashing I mean..), then it flashed in a normal way. It flashed only about 8 - 10 times, then it stopped. As I thought it would be a bad contact between dash and it's plug, I pushed the plug into the dash and it hasn't flashed since. Coolant temp was in the usual 80 - 90ºC and oil temp was OK too. No coolant has been lost / leaked. may it be due to a high pressure in the circuit? or may I pray for that malfunction being caused by a bad contact between plug & dash? thanks, I hope I've not fooked anything please!!
  7. finished the climatronic retrofit 8) it's taken longer than I thought at first, so I would not do it again for sure!!! Pics on monday, my health is fully destroyed at the moment

  12. Hi there, I'd like to know what wire is connected to the "black" one that you can see if you take the steering wheel's centre square/whatever apart. I mean, which of the multiplug's wires that are attached to the steering wheel/stalks is it? thanks!!

  19. Ive removed the centre console and it looks accessible. I'll have a look on monday with a make up mirror :camp:
  20. well not lower... I mean, from underneath, where the hot-cold cable attaches to :) if anyone could post it, it would be great :) and.. is this section accessible if I remove the feet air pipes? and can these be removed without taking the dash out? Exactly, this, but from an early style one (pic stolen from Dennis at ccc)
  21. yes that's what happened to mine. it's not really that front is too high.. the problem is that back is too low. eibach only lowers your car about 2.5cm (1inch?) and that's what the front has lowered down.
  22. eibach claims a lowering of 1 or 1.25 an inch. after 20k miles (6 months) my eibachs have lowered about one finger more if that helps
