pull out the fuse box cover tray (in case you have it). By looking at the fusebox, you may see a white clip, about 6cm long or so. In case you have it, remove it. after that, pull the fusebox "a little" up to make it go out of its brackets, then it will slide down. BE CAREFUL, it will be held ONLY by the wires/plugs!! a good thing to do would be replacing the fuses (if they have no make on them might mean they were bought at a chinese shop or so). a torch will be useful! edit: no need to disconnect any plug. What I meant is that you have a look by letting the fusebox loose so you can turn it a little. There's no need to take it apart from the car if you only want to have a look

don't be so happy m8, te problem will come back.. sooner or later... so get it fixed! Have you pulled out the fusebox? Just to have a look behind it to see if there is anything wrong (burnt wires, etc)? I did it on my car and I had 2 burnt-carbonised wires  it won't take you more than 10 minutes

ah ok, I found botcher (on google  ) means something like a bad job. thanks
-
hm what's it , butchers or botchers?
-
I hope you get it fixed as soon as possible so you can drive your car. however, and please don't think I am a "botcher"... if you need to use your C as a daily you could try and unplug your handbrake switch... just a thought! finding an electric problem iis a pain. you may find it quickly.. or you might spend trillions of hours to find out it was such an obvious thing and wonder why you didn't look at that at first :cuckoo:

the quick fix (you know, temporary fix.... like those that remain in the car forever  ) IMO would be: take apart the handbrake switch! it is located under the centre tunnel I think. if it makes your car run OK, then it's just a question of time to get it propperly fixed. The second one if the first doesn't work, would be disconnecting the speedo clocks wiring harness (I fixed a turning indicator issue in my car by doing this). If this works, then, look at the wiring diagrams and "cut" (or, better disconnect the wire from the plug) that sends the signal to the clock's handbrake light. The third would be removing the fuse for this light (if there is one, which I think not, but who knows...) if all of these drive you to an unsuccessful temporary fix, then... it's time to study corrado electrical diagrams  good luck with it!

At first I bought a set of in pro angel eyes, which came in white positioning light. I cracked one so I got a replacement inpro headlight from egay, which came in blue light :pukeright: After 1 year driving my car with one headlight's positioning light of each colour, I swapped the rings from the white (cracked one) to the blue and everything is fine now. The rings have 2 leds each, so it is 2 leds per headlight. They are easy enough to take apart, shouldn't take you more than 20 minutes

oks! then I think I won't fit it..
-
but is it worth it? I mean, pay 60 - 70 only for this?
-
iirc there was a post in here showing the way to mod an early to a late or something like this
-
btw what's the round hole on the right-centre of the block? I have a cap with nothing plugged in there :?
-
and is the improvement worth the job?
-
I'll have a look, thanks m8!
-
thanks. so it can be fitted to the kr engine without removing anything else but the oil pan?
-
thanks :D

As my corrado has had 5 previous owners, doing their completely un-professional work in it.... I'm not even sure my gearbox is a kr oem one (neither the engine bottom end).... Don't ask me why, but even PAS pump isn't a corrado one so I'd like to make sure everything is ok... where can I find the bottom end part number, and gearbox part number? thanks :)

what is a windage tray? and where can I get it from? and what's involved in putting it in my kr?
-
thanks :D should I use any sealant such as this http://www.tiendarecambios.es/images/large/pattex/nural28_LRG.jpg (or any equivalent, just to get the idea)?
-
I was told it could be done, and as g60 oil pan gasket is made of ¿rubber?, it was better than the kr one. but, is it a rumour, or will it fit ok without any mods etc? thanks :?
-
or you can use bi-component epoxy glue. I repaired my splitter with this glue and hasn't cracked after some (really) (hard) bumps hitting the splitter
-
try with one of this it should work!
-
modded an exhaust cam to be used as inlet, not sure about the new timing mark I have done anyway :cuckoo: any help on this?
-
spent 2.5 hours this morning removing the kr exhaust manifold. all nuts were rusted and almost welded to the manifold due to the rust accumulation. After lunch, I tried to fit the abf manifold but it is A LOT bigger than the kr so it did'nt fit :| so spent 2 + hours fitting the kr one in place

great, thanks :)
