  1. hey , check this out he does not reply to mails :mad2:
  2. hi, thanks for your reply. should I need any "special" tool like when doing brake calipers? or a normal one would be enough?
  3. I'm replacing the fuel filter of my KR soon and I was wondering if there are any other accesible bits (such as pipes, seals or whatever) that should be replaced "while I'm there" too? thanks in advance :)
  4. Haha not at £620 im not going first  I think i could probably source parts cheaper and upgrade as i go along but as krnau said, the exhaust manifold looks almost identical to the saab one i posted first i've seen kr / 9a / abf exhaust manifolds ready for turbo go for 150€ on egay... I wouldn't risk to get the saab one personally..
  5. the saab one you posted looks very similar to this one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/VW-93-94 ... ccessories
  6. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/VW-92-93 ... ccessories :norty: :norty: :norty:
  7. ignition needs to be retarded under boost at hight rpm I think
  8. it looks very similar yes.... but I cant say it for sure... are you really going to do it!?¿¿ what about the distributor???
  9. I once showed interest for a KR turbo kit worked out of scrap yards, which was only missing the inlet manifold, and it did include the turbo... at a cost of 80& for the lot.... and the chap said that the kr injectors and the k-jet metering head was suitable for up to 200hp; neither was the compression though I had been investigating on turboing a kr with oem fuel management and keeping oem block as well some time ago, and you will need a vaccum "retarded" (retarded? sorry can't think of a better word now!) distributor, and many other bits but this would be the hardest to find I think. keeping k-jeet wouldn't be the best way to go, but it's easy to maintain and to know what is going wrong in there.... or at least easier than EFI in my opinion
  10. so, they aren't selling any glowing needles, and no cig surround :(
  11. suscribed 8) it says that the 16v stock C.R. is okay for a +40cv increase. I'd be happy with a 25 or 30 anyway :norty: the 'hardest' thing is chosing an engine management... Hosever, I found a golf mk1 using a turbo with k-jetronic fuel management  but he never replied to my e-mails :brickwall: :brickwall:
  12. norty! Try taking a wire brush to the nozzle at the bk. Its sits on the joint of the washer arm (where the washer turns) Or better still, remove it and give it a good clean. They often get blocked so that may be the problem. After that i would check the motor on the bottle, can you hear the motor working when you activate the washer? If it is working then just leave it on for a while and get a mate to check to see if anything comes out. My washer takes about 30-45 seconds to get the liquid to the back of the car but i think thats because i have a leak somewhere down the pipe run :( :| I think I'll better remove that pipe  I never use it anyway so I prefer not having any water transported to the back of my car, just in case the pipe broke.. yes, I'm a magnet for things breaking!
  13. i've never seen water coming out of it; however, i've never held the lever for so long  but I like the idea of spraying people :norty: :norty: I used to have a clio, in which I had one of the hood's washer nipple looking at the right side of the car in order to spray people that were crossing in red and so on :norty: :norty: :norty: :norty: :norty: I remember an old man that started crossing when the lights were already RED for him, he crossed calmly, with a face on like saying "haha, stay there, wait until I've crossed!"...... but hey, time for shower :norty: :norty: :norty: and he stopped in the middle of the road, writing down my plate number on a piece of paper, saying that he would report it to the police etc... so he got a second free shower while he was saying this
  14. i'm not attempting to do it  It's just because I found this picture on the net and I remembered that my rear washer doesn't throw any watter on the glass   so this would have been another missing bit of my corrado
  15. as per title, there be a sepparate washer bottle for the rear??? something like this thanks
  16. yes, and that took me 2 years of search  good luck anyway!!
  17. yes, removing the bracket is the way, that's what I did in mine :D btw, if you remove the bracket in the spartan way (like me), it will become useless
  18.    what a cheap item isn't it? I'd be happy to get 10m for you, but I'm from Spain and shipping to UK would cost more than the rubber itself I'm afraid :( if there were more people interested then it'd be a good idea, but IMO there will be somewhere in the UK where these rubbers are sold..
  19. OMFG!!! Really appreciating that pic+info!!! Thanks!!! does anyone know how much is it for both door seals at the stealers?? thanks!!
  20. hey look!! http://moman.pl/corrado/vw_corrado_19.jpg they have electroluminiscent needles... and blue cig lighter surround  any info on this? I've emailed them about it, but .. may the needles be taken from another car? which?
  21.     they've released a "design 3" without the CORRADO written on the speed sphere :norty: :norty: :norty: :norty: yesssssss definately getting'em next month when I get some money from some little bussiness :norty:
  22. well it looks like I'm getting a set of these soon :norty: :norty: :norty: :norty: I'm looking at the 35i Passat ones, but I don't know what "size" is the screen for the MFA as, for the passat, it's listed as big/small or something like this
  23. thanks :D I'm after a set of borbet et35 if there are any for sale¿
