yes, but "good" systems have millions of keys which randomly change everytime you push the button, and both emissor and receiver change it at the same time so despite you can scan the key, it will be useless as it will be a different one next time. And I don't really trust in that these 30quid keyless entry systems incorporate this functionality.... and yes, some adverts on egay say that they have millions of keys but I just don't trust in them.
-
the thing is that one might scan what you emit from the key, and then reproduce it theirselves to emit the same signal and open the car after you go...

hmmm Looks interesting.. :D does the inverter make that annoying noise like "PIIIIIII" with these??? maybe we could arrange a group buy :norty: boh.. but I don't like the "corrado" written on it :(
-
with a pda or mobile phone, you can scan radio frecuency emited by the keyless entry system. I don'k know if it uses always the same key or not..
-
you can replace those bulbs without removing the clocks. you only have to remove the surround and it's front screen, as seen in this picture from the other post:

I would buy it as a gift for your father if I were you... it is only 750&...
-
but I think these keyless entry can be scanned.. so it might be a bad idea though..
-
corrados are strange, arnt'em?

oichan.org I think. if not, google it, there won't be many people called oichan
-
you can find fitting instructions, including pictures etc in oichan's site ;)

I would check all of this, and the fuel accumulator as well. However, you might have more then one problem that is causing this issue at the same time...
-
edit: petrol is cheaper there too. 1L 0.9€
-
well I will finally go for some konis as recommended by you. I will pick them up in 2 weeks time from Andorra. Here in Spain they cost about 115€ each, and in andorra something like 67€ each!!!! i will get some marlboros from there too, as they cost 3€ each box while in spain it costs 3.40€ each 8) however, it is a 4 hour drive .... at 70km-h to avoid rubbing

hey, and why not getting a kr head with cams?
-
yes, please, upload that pic. however, if the block has 1/2mm ... i think it should be done as well, because half a mm can seem a little but at the compression time it could give you some troubble..
-
when I bought my car 2 years ago, the head was in a similar way (had a "hole", but not that big!!!!). I was told that it could be welded but that it might not last long... so I was advised to get another head. so about the other head, if the cost is just 22... I would do it because you won't have the head out every day so I think it is really worth it..

Hi, as some members in here, I removed the arial's amplifier which, by the way, was rusted. while I was puting the aerial back in the car, I took the car's antenna wiring with my hand and the radio had a full quality at that moment (in a -2 level garage!). so... could a long, long very long wire be attached to it and leave the aerial disconnected??
-
you need bixenon H4, which has both low and high beam ;) btw, I sell tem at 65€ delivered :norty:
-
you can see it in this pic, both relay and fuse are circled (squared? ) http://s3.subirimagenes.com:81/fondosyc ... 072009.jpg

glad to know it helped you :) I am still having (different) issues with mfa and oil temp.... if you find the cause, please post it in the first post so anyone can have a look at it in the future :)
-
you can have a look at G2 connector of the fusebox, pin number 1 (green - black coloured) I think is the one that comes from oil temp sender. then, inspect U1 connector at the back of the fusebox. Wire number 1 of this connector (black - white coloured) goes to the dash plug pin number 17 hope it helps ;)
-
the best thing is to rewire it. it will take you no more than 1hr and you will get it fixed.
-
it is number 19 or near to it, 30AMP rated. there is also another fuse on the top-left corner of the fusebox (30A too) which controls after run on fan and second stage speed which if blown, won't let the rad fan kick in.
