  1. Indeed they do supercharged The trick is just finding the brightest bastards you can. If you get those "tower" ones, they light up the entire internal section of the light which ends up bouncing into the lens and out. Hey presto - incredibly bright led indicators, even when it's sunny. If truth be told, I purchased these BECAUSE I had an issue with my other LED ones not showing up at all in bright sun, as you mentioned. If you get decent bulbs, you'll get great results. No soldering on the bulbs needed, just get bayonet cap. - Yes, buy amber ones. - You must also buy the resistor to solder on due to the low voltage (as discussed in the linked threads) EBAY LINK - These are the items that I have (I think - please check this first) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2pcs-382-Refractor-30-SMD-LED-Amber-Indicator-Bulbs_W0QQitemZ200368416976QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item2ea6e368d0&_trksid=p4634.c0.m14.l1262 Really good seller too! Then buy the resistor and do this:
  2. Have to agree with all of the above. Really no point buying bigger pods and decent comps if you're not going to amp them up. What do you guys reckon to Genesis stuff?
  3. Read this: http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=64076 Buy these: (in bayonet cap) Job done. Don't piss about with painting things green  My amber LED's are brighter than the original bulbs ever were, even with a heavy red tint.
  4. The manifolds in question are Inlet.... not Exhaust.... :salute:
  5. I've got one too - no complaints here either! Washer jet holes were cut in for me by Mike - As JMC kinda mentioned - cutting up £400s worth of bonnet is a scary thing to contemplate! Nothing but good comments on the quality and the consistent weave :)
  6. Halfords ones are VARTA anyway..... so can't be that bad going on previous comments!
  7. I think they work... but then, I'm a little biased! :) 16" X 7" & 8" staggered.. 195/40s in the pic, but now on 195/45
  8. Give us a shout about the rear axle sometime dude :) I'm sure having the space wouldn't hurt !
  9. So was that entire piece an advert or an editorial? It's hard to tell when the guy that wrote it seems so far up Ford's ass that he's licking their tonsils. New Capri in comparison to old Capri = :epicfail:
  10. Look roughly correct, but knowing the product code of the pack they came from would help quite a lot!
  11. Brembo standard discs were about £40 for a pair from my local place. Can't really go too far wrong. They are an OE supplier after all!
  12. I got one 2nd hand recently, and it was an incredibly tight fit, but eventually went in. 10mm is a huge amount in relative terms for something like this, so something must be up. Does anyone know if there's a certain way to tighten the u bolts up, and how tight they should be? Or, the correct distance between the turrets?! Hope you get this sorted chap, sorry for the mini thread-hijack!
  13. Haha, you bastard, Bobby! We've still got a near side full rear arch that we've not got around to selling. It's been cut off the car and stored for months!
  14. Great! A forum discount on mail order tyres would be bonza :D
  15. Different people have been telling me that running a rear ARB on a VR makes them handle like a Pug 205! This is NOT a bad thing! :) Apparently the rear ARB is a far more effective mod for the money, as the back end can get a bit wobbly ;) Front ARBs are meant to be good, but can make the car a little skittish from what I've been told! Getting a rear arb for mine fairly soon!
  16. Don't bother getting new wishbones, just get new bushes and get them pressed in unless the wishbones are rusted to buggery! Upgrade to TT/R32 rear bushes while you have a good chance to!
  17. I much preferred your last suggestion Andy! ....or you could get a Focus and join the gang :ignore:
  18. Refitted my wishbones now they've been rebushed, and reconnected the new balljoints, drop links and tie rods :)
  19. Sort it out StueyBizzle! There's about 50 billion things that have happened since then! I don't even have a build thread
  20. Change the oil yourself you numpty! :norty:
  21. Seems like a good price to me! A bit less than I paid last week. If they are febi blistien branded - they are most likely also made by INA - which are the best ones to get. Mine certainly were - it says so on each one!
  22. Sounds like a breaker to me :ignore: (if it was a good price!)
  23. Thats the one Dinkus... I've got the doughnut ones already, they're solid rubber rather than kinda... dimpled with holes, so should tighten things up a bit. The front ones, (P/N) is correct then by the sounds of things are indeed the sausage shaped ones. Again, the TT/R32 ones are meant to be a bit more solid. If anyone is looking for a complete set - http://www.fourseasontuning.com/?product=308#
