LOL it is a standard feature that came with the car m8, check with your local stealership ;) I use the gap in between the slide forward & backwards handle on the passenger seat...

I understand these 'pop-out' cup holders are nice & like the ashtray version, good work. however, I thought I would share my cup holder which is a cracking fit for many size receptacles, requires zero modifications, has no potential spill issues & doesn't get in the way of anything..... ;)

if it is wallowy it will be the dampers at fault. ARB's are solid & as such shouldn't degrade over time in terms of the benefit they provide. strut braces simply add to the stiffness of your dampers by further restricting the up & down movement it really boils down to what I said in my post to someone else on the previous page of this thread "price will be one of your main factors what budget have you in mind? also, when you say 'handling' what are you after? IE as close to OE as possible, a nice smooth ride & no desire to adjust height or the ability to set ride height & damper settings?"

ive always loved that one too m8, its a cracker :)

indeed Dox...but these are not my best pics ;) lol

& the gf's storm...

I will jump on this band wagon :) here is one I took last night by coincidence...

Yes im sure VW spent much time in getting what they think was the correct suspension, distributed along with the rest of the car however, I would imagine that as KW used to provide the suspension for the Porsche Cup racing cars they more than likely spent a lot of money specifically on suspension buy crap suspension, get a crap ride. buy good suspension, get the ride you specifically want

Hi everyone! Is my old Rotrex Charged Storm still about?
g0ldf1ng3r replied to Rams's topic in General Car Chat
hi Rams hope you're well :) -
im sure from looking at the pics I have roose motorsport hoses fitted on my VR, you could try looking at their page & comparing them to the forge ones you have linky.... http://roosemotorsport.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_97_191&products_id=1493 edit: in case you are unaware roose motorsport had someone send them their VR VW hoses for them to make a match

mmmm gotta love driving a 20 year old car & some random in the petrol station wonders over & says 'wow m8 that's a lovely corrado, beautiful colour, how much would you sell it for?' :D lol
-
on the main forum page scroll down until you see 'members gallery' & click on it create a new thread in that section, call it what you will & post some info & pics for us all to see :) for example this is mine.... http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?44751-g0ldf1ng3r-s-VR-amp-return-of-the-valver-VR-wheel-swap

nice 1 chugs!! westie, yes a nice write up. have you put yourself a thread on the members gallery here?

oooo you've made me twitch now EJ!! lol pls do put my name on them & let me know how much you're thinking in due course :D the valver has no audio at all at present, well apart from the tiny 4" infinity's in the dash that I installed when I first owned it. it really did make me chuckle that they were still in there when I brought it back. it still had the number plates I put on it too lol I can then swap the 5.25" kappas from the VR into the valver - which I should really sort out as im sure I need to send the passenger side back as it is cracking as for your excitement I don't blame you m8, that is one serious install!!!
-
thanks m8 :) im hoping to get the few scabby parts of paint whipped over quickly to get me through until I can get a full respray done lol the twangy kinda noise mine made was making me think I had an issue with my rear top mounts or KW strut - such a loud noise for such a small part
-
ha ha ha im only jealous of your JL kit m8 lol

MS have been sneaky m8. they have included the 'upgrade to windows 10' as part of a windows update thus every MS based PC in the world which runs windows updates will be offered this free upgrade hmm suspect methinks lol
-
I know that with a new laptop/PC Microsoft give a 1 year subscription for free for Office 365 after that initial period it would be required to pay for a subscription to continue using the software, else I believe it would be rendered useless at a guess I would imagine MS plan the same for Windows 10 - only if after the 'free' period you do not pay to subscribe the entire PC/laptop could potentially be turned into a brick as nothing will work without an operating system
-
nothing in life is free Jim ;) MS cant get their paid for OS right on first release so lord knows what a 'free' upgrade will be like lol
-
that's only cause you are an audio snob EJ!!! ;) lol
-
hi m8 personally I would always wait a couple of months after a new operating system release until upgrading. ive been building PC's etc for about 20 years & always wait a little before moving to new editions all new software will require a fair few updates in the initial period this waiting period should also allow for the majority of the early problems to be identified & fixed however, there are those out there who love to adopt things as soon as they are released
-
& ooo whats that lurking in the background ;) lol
-
gazing out of my front room window last night I saw a nice example of the early / late differences...
-
I keep finding myself glancing at the VR in the work car park & im liking the black wheels & the decision to go shiny rather than matte

VR update: oil leak fixed new penny washer on the rear exhaust heat shield - stopping it from going 'twang' over small sharp bumps bridgestones swapped over to refurb'd speedlines (centre caps pending refurb)....
