don't forget to get yourself one of the one time use clamp clips for the connection to the PCV valve Jim, or remind Vince as he did a nice little fix on mine when he fitted them ;)

happy to help m - hopefully it is the usual part that has broken & his kit can help FYI Daves16v kit, in various forms, has been tried & tested successfully many times by lots of users of this forum & elsewhere. his work is not to be confused with tat from places like ebay i have handle kits on both sides of the VR. one of his short shifters in the VR & will be buying one for my valver. i also have a plethora of 'shiny' parts from him on the VR too :D
-
get yourself on the suppliers thread - Daves16v does a handle repair kit I currently have them on both of the VR handles & will buy some for the valver just in case, sorry for when they go lol

a spring loaded neck - such that your corrado will cause you to turn & look at it EVERY time you walk away from it

ha ha I nearly wrote the same about west midlands EJ lol I am 40 2 weeks on Friday & only managed to sell my flat to buy a house at end 2014 - even then it was only thanks to a very helpful nan & granddad & gf's mom!! -
ha ha ha :D

it looks good when static or at a show - my mechanics son has a lupo & my word it bites my cherry every time I see it its a 1 litre, runs on fumes, goes for miles, got full heated leather (cant recall what out of), a few bits plasti dipped, gorgeous alloys & air ride. it is one mean looking lupo once dropped when at rest seriously makes me consider selling the valver & going to a lupo! lol

IIRC you should never be on the bump stops as that means your suspension is not taking care of the travel I know this is the case for VW camper vans. it is very common for them to be lowered so much they sit on the bump stops. this in turn causes a horrible crashey ride & effects the steering too air ride is the way forward if you want silly low lol

nice, welcome - would that be with a red front VR6 badge? where are you from?
-
excellent thank you

oooo tasty! well done Karmannski can I ask if the glass used is the same as the original OE versions or has it been improved in terms of handling the heat & as such reduce possibility of cracking? (like the originals)
-
nice to hear you are happy with it :)
-
nice miles & miles of tasty tarmac to enjoy - I hope you get some good weather for it

you have to love the way the classic parts page sends you to a log in page when you click on a copied link! most annoying when trying to help others out on here as we find the part on heritage for them, copy the link, post it on here but then when you click the copied link grrrrr fecking log in page I will find it on the site though as it sounds interesting

Rolling Road Day @ Stealth Racing - May 22nd
g0ldf1ng3r replied to VR6Pete's topic in Event Announcements & Discussion
I guess if you cant make it at least we can still see your motor Jim & intimately too maybe if it is in bits ;) lol hopefully I can make it to this to say hello. though im already torn as to which rado I would take. the VR has had the engine work etc done at stealth & I know a few members want to see & hear the Longlife exhaust BUT it was Jon who found & told me about my old valver on ebay which I then brought back so I kinda feel I should take that there to show him & Vince - oh the quandary lol -
sweet! nice to hear of another good result - when I did a steering wheel last year it came out lovely VR seats being done when the weather improves did you take any before & after pictures?
-
Oooo nice! I have read about & seen the NC500, it looks an awesome journey of road & smooth too I would be very interested to hear your reports, enjoy oh & sorry to read about the ding :(
-
nice news but sad news Rog see you here again soon though ;)

blimey that was hard work! GSF are the motor factor local to you - I searched on their site & found the rack stated as not available for home delivery so I used their chat function - painful to say the least - I tried to find out if they could order one in but didn't get an answer the person said they have the late rack on order but no lead time stated http://www.gsfcarparts.com/430vg0140 £386 but states £126 surcharge which is refunded when they get your old one back FYI (for comparison) the early rack is also on the site, slightly cheaper at around £285 with an £85 surcharge would you like me to contact a colleague at the head office of the branch network to see if they can order one in for you? if yes, PM me your email addy & your VIN number & reg I cant promise anything but my thought is maybe I can get one sent to your local branch

having jumped on the heritage site I see what you mean Jim that cant be right - I only brought the one for my valver last summer & that was 10 times less cost give me a few minutes im on to it for you....
